Hoshi and Tsunade exposed Danzo’s crimes, rescued Nawaki, and secured Tsunade’s succession as Fourth Hokage. As Tsunade and Hoshi consolidated power in Konoha, Hoshi began pursuing Sage Art at Shikkotsu Forest and explored how Transparency Release might help him sense Natural Energy.

• Sakumo informed Hoshi and Tsunade that Nawaki was missing, and they returned to Konoha while Sakumo and Orochimaru handled the negotiations.
• Danzo experimented with Hashirama Cell Reagent, awakened Wood Release, and ordered Root to seize the Scroll of Seals and kill Hiruzen.
• Hoshi and Tsunade fought Root at Konoha’s gates, while Hoshi confronted Danzo and Hiruzen severed his ties with him.
• Danzo’s Hashirama Cells ran wild after he used Izanagi, but Madara rescued him, bound him with a Command Seal, and sent him away with Hiruko.
• Hoshi used Yin Release to stabilize Nawaki’s Hashirama Cells, and Nawaki awakened genuine Wood Release without suffering backlash.

Hoshi mastered Perfect Sage Mode, married Tsunade, and discovered the Kusanagi Sword could carry him through the air. After Ryunosuke vanished and the other villages prepared to invade Sunagakure, Hoshi realized the Third Great Ninja War was about to begin.

• Hoshi trained with the Slug Sage for years, mastered Perfect Sage Mode, and unlocked Attribute Conversion: Nature.
• Hoshi defeated Kakuzu, returned to Konoha, and demonstrated his Perfect Sage Mode to Jiraiya and the others.
• Sasori killed Third Kazekage Ryunosuke, turned him into a puppet, and escaped Sunagakure.
• Hoshi and Tsunade married in Konoha, where Orochimaru gave Hoshi the Kusanagi Sword.
• Hoshi discovered he could charge the Kusanagi Sword with Chakra, summon it from his hand, and ride it through the air.
• The Four Kage learned Ryunosuke had vanished, and the Third Raikage ordered Kumogakure to mobilize for an invasion of Sunagakure.
• Ōnoki planned to intercept Kumogakure, Yagura chose to wait, and Shikaku urged Konoha to prepare for war.

Hoshi helped Konoha withstand the Third Great Ninja War, defeated the Third Raikage, and later tested his newly mastered swordsmanship. As the Mist attacked Konoha, Beichen died protecting the younger shinobi, and Kagetsu awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan and began cutting down the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

• Hoshi visited the Uchiha Compound, where he saw Obito bullied and learned Kagetsu had been teaching him, then tried to address Obito, Rin, and Kakashi’s feelings before war broke out.
• Sunagakure’s clash with Konoha at Kikyō Pass drew Cloud Village and Iwagakure into the war, while Sunagakure sought Konoha’s alliance and Rasa became Fourth Kazekage.
• Hoshi helped Obito improve as he began a relationship with Rin, and he taught Minato the Rasengan before volunteering to stop the Third Raikage’s advance.
• Hoshi fought the Third Raikage at Sunagakure, overcame his Lightning Release Armor, and left him severely wounded, then refused to let Rasa strike him while helpless.
• Hoshi’s swordsmanship reached Grandmaster-level, and he gained Extreme Intent Slash before Konoha deployed forces to fronts against Cloud Village and Iwagakure.
• As Minato and Nawaki gained renown in battle, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist entered the Forest of Death and attacked Konoha’s guards.
• Beichen fought the swordsmen to protect Might Guy, Ebisu, and Genma Shiranui, but Kushimaru Kuriarare killed him as Kagetsu watched.
• Kagetsu awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan and used its powers to kill Kushimaru, Mujin Hachiya, Chirin Hozuki, Jinin Akebino, and Raiga Kurosuki, while Juzo Biwa and Suikazan Fuguki fled.

Hoshi avenged Konoha’s losses by striking Kirigakure, securing an alliance, and rescuing Pakura, while Nagato’s grief turned Akatsuki into the Six Paths of Pain. Minato’s victory over A and the Cloud forces prompted a withdrawal, which Ōnoki exploited with a devastating ambush.

• Kagetsu killed Suikazan Fuguki after Samehada drained her Chakra, then collapsed and was taken to Konoha Hospital, where Tsunade recognized her Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Hoshi and Tsunade learned that Mist Village had stolen a Byakugan, so Hoshi recruited three Hyuga Jonin and set out to retaliate while Rasa sent Pakura toward a supposed exchange.
• Hoshi rescued Pakura from a Mist ambush, recruited her into Konoha as Passion, and led her in an assault on Kirigakure’s headquarters.
• Hoshi defeated Yagura and the Six-Tails, then reached an alliance with Genji that allowed Konoha to station ninja at Mist Village’s docks.
• Hanzō’s ambush killed Yahiko and broke Nagato’s hope for peace, after which Obito helped Nagato recover and persuaded him to gather the Tailed Beasts.
• Nagato created the Six Paths of Pain, used them to kill Hanzō and seize Amegakure, and prompted Jiraiya to leave Konoha seeking answers.
• Minato used his Rasenshuriken to defeat A and force Kumogakure to withdraw, but Ōnoki trapped the retreating Cloud forces in a valley and attacked them with falling boulders.
