Madara revived himself, declared war on the Ninja World, and drove the Five Great Villages into an alliance. The Allied Shinobi Forces faced his armies and the Ten-Tails, and the arc ended with Hashirama and Naruto’s group preparing to fight the transformed Madara.

• Nagato told Jiraiya and Naruto how Akatsuki began, then accepted Naruto’s hopeful message and died after Black Zetsu forced him to perform Rinne Rebirth for Madara.
• Madara took back his Rinnegan, fought Hoshi, summoned a meteor, and declared the Fourth Shinobi World War after Konoha’s forces stopped it.
• Hashirama and Tobirama joined Konoha, and Minato organized the villages into an Allied Shinobi Forces alliance at the Five Kage Summit.
• Madara disrupted the summit, revealed his army and Eye of the Moon Plan, and gave the Kage twenty days to surrender before Minato became commander of the alliance.
• Hoshi helped Naruto gain the Nine-Tails’ cooperation, and the Allied Shinobi Forces gathered roughly eighty thousand troops and advanced toward Amegakure.
• The Allied forces fought White Zetsu and Impure World Reincarnation fighters, while Hoshi, Naruto, and Killer B helped repel a night attack and the Uchiha used Susanoo to turn the battle.
• Madara summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, fed it the Gold and Silver Brothers, and used meteors and the revived Ten-Tails to devastate the Allied forces.
• Madara absorbed the Ten-Tails and overwhelmed Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, Naruto, and the others, who regrouped with Sage Art and Susanoo techniques for the next fight.
