After King Kai told Son Goku where Turles was, Son Goku began sensing for ki at those coordinates.
Fifteen minutes later, Son Goku finally detected several faint ki signatures. He then used Instant Transmission and appeared before a towering tree.
Turles and his men were startled to see Son Goku suddenly appear before them.
Turles asked, "Judging by your appearance, you're a Saiyan too. What's your name? How did you get here?"
Only then did Son Goku look at Turles and his men. "My name is Kakarot. You're Turles, then."
"Oh, you know my name? Have you come to join me? I only accept elites, though, not trash," Turles said.
Son Goku laughed. "What makes you so confident I've come to join you?"
"You haven't come to join me? Then what are you here for?" Turles asked.
"I've come to kill you and take your Tree of Might while I'm at it," Son Goku said.
"Hahaha! Is something wrong with my ears? You say you've come to kill me and steal my Tree of Might? That's the biggest joke I've ever heard!" Turles roared with laughter.
"Laugh while you can. These are your final moments," Son Goku said.
Turles's expression turned cold. "So you really want to take me on. Do you have what it takes to fight me? Damondo, go show him that not just any nobody can challenge the Turles Crusher Corps."
"Yes, Lord Turles," Damondo said.
He then checked Son Goku's power level with his Scouter. When he found it was only five, he said, "I know you're hiding your power, Kakarot. Release it. Don't say I never gave you a chance."
"All right, then. Watch closely," Son Goku said.
He released just a little of his ki, and Damondo's Scouter began beeping incessantly. Damondo glanced at it and jumped in fright. The reading was 530,000.
Seeing his reaction, Turles asked Damondo, "What's this brat's power level? Why are you so scared?"
"Lord Turles, the Scouter says his power level is 530,000," Damondo said.
"Are you sure you read it correctly?" Turles asked in shock.
"Yes, unless the Scouter is malfunctioning," Damondo said.
"Impossible! Absolutely impossible! Kakarot is a Low-Class Warrior just like me. I've eaten so much fruit from the Tree of Might, and I've only just reached 500,000. How could he be stronger?" Turles demanded, shocked and furious.
Meanwhile, he thought, If I eat a few more Spirit Tree Fruits, my power level will surpass Kakarot's. Then I can defeat him and kill him. I have to stall for time.
"I started training when I was three," Son Goku said. "Through summer heat and winter cold, year after year, I never stopped. That's how I gained the strength I have today. Unlike you, I don't rely on outside help and eat fruit from the Tree of Might to make myself stronger. Strength gained that way will never amount to much."
"What's wrong with relying on outside help?" Turles said. "By eating fruit from the Tree of Might, I gained my current strength with barely any effort. You trained for at least twenty years just to reach 530,000. It's obvious which method is better."
"You think this is my full strength?" Son Goku said. "Let me tell you, what I'm showing you right now isn't even one forty-thousandth of my power."
"Impossible! You must be lying! No one could reach that level through twenty years of training!" Turles exclaimed in shock.
"Then I'll show you a little mercy and let you witness a Super Saiyan before you die," Son Goku said.
With a loud shout, his ki surged around him. Fierce winds howled, and thunder and lightning filled the sky. Son Goku's hair began turning gold, and his eyes began turning green.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! The Scouters worn by Turles and his three men exploded, leaving all four aghast. Their Scouters could measure power levels up to two million, yet they had exploded. That could only mean Kakarot's power level exceeded their limit. No wonder the four were shocked.
Moments later, Son Goku finished transforming into a Super Saiyan.
"Is this the Legendary Super Saiyan? Truly extraordinary," Turles said in shock.
"That's right. This is a Super Saiyan. It increases your power level to fifty times that of your normal state," Son Goku said.
Turles nodded calmly, then suddenly rushed toward the Tree of Might.
Of course, Son Goku knew what Turles was trying to do. He wanted to eat Spirit Tree Fruit, increase his strength, and then fight him. Unfortunately, he didn't know there was a limit to how much the fruit could increase one's strength. Otherwise, why would the Supreme Kai and the God of Destruction let the Tree of Might remain out in the wild?
Son Goku formed four Ki Blades and gifted one to each of the four men. They were so moved that they died on the spot.
After dealing with the four, Son Goku darted over to the Tree of Might, picked a Spirit Tree Fruit, and began eating it.
"It tastes pretty good, almost like an apple," Son Goku muttered.
After finishing it, he assessed his strength. It had barely increased, but his godly power had grown considerably.
Son Goku then picked all the Spirit Tree Fruit, 250 in total.
He next went over to Turles's spaceship and used Instant Transmission to bring it back to Earth.
Bulma was drinking tea and basking in the sun in the garden when she saw Son Goku appear in the sky, holding up an enormous spaceship.
"Goku, where did you get that spaceship? Put it down!" she shouted.
"Bulma, where should I put it?" Son Goku asked.
"Just put it in front of the Laboratory Building," Bulma said.
Hearing that, Son Goku slowly flew toward the Laboratory Building, carrying the spaceship.
A short while later, he set the spaceship down in front of the Laboratory Building.
Dr. Brief, who had been conducting experiments inside the Laboratory Building, came out when he saw it. "Goku, where did you get this spaceship? It's really sleek and impressive!"
"I got it from a space pirate. It's yours, Dad," Son Goku said.
"Oh, I couldn't possibly," Briefs said.
"We're family. There's no need to stand on ceremony," Son Goku said.
"Then I'll gladly accept," Briefs said.
Son Goku nodded, then took out twenty Spirit Tree Fruits and handed them to Briefs. "Dad, these are Spirit Tree Fruits. Eating them can extend your life and leave you feeling refreshed and clearheaded. Share them with Mom."
"That's very thoughtful of you, Goku. I'll take them, then," Briefs said.
Briefs tried eating one and immediately felt several years younger, his whole body brimming with strength. "This really is wonderful stuff. I'm going to find your mother-in-law," he told Son Goku.
Son Goku nodded, then used Instant Transmission to appear beside Bulma. He handed her ten Spirit Tree Fruits and explained their effects. Without another word, Bulma began eating.
The moment she finished one Spirit Tree Fruit, she looked radiant and several years younger. Her power level rose from three to 30,000.
"Well done, Goku. I'll give you a proper reward tonight," Bulma said.
Son Goku laughed. "No need to wait until tonight. Once I've finished handing out the Spirit Tree Fruit, we can get started. Bring Chi-Chi along too."
Bulma blushed and spat out a dismissive "Pah!" before saying, "No. We have to wait until tonight."
"Tonight it is, then," Son Goku said with a laugh.
Afterward, Son Goku began handing out Spirit Tree Fruit to the people he knew.
