Son Goku said, "Piccolo, are you sure?"

After meeting Planet Namek's new Grand Elder, the two returned to Earth using Instant Transmission.

Porunga said, "My power can only give the weighted clothing a maximum of ten thousand times gravity. Do you want me to grant this wish?"

Son Goku said, "Please grant it!"

Porunga said, "Your first wish has been granted. What is your second wish?"

Porunga said, "That wish is simple."

His eyes flashed red, and Son Goku felt a wealth of new knowledge fill his mind.

Porunga said, "Your three wishes have been granted. Farewell."

With that, Porunga turned into seven Dragon Balls, which flew to every corner of Planet Namek.

Son Goku thanked the Grand Elder, then used Instant Transmission to return to Earth as the Namekians watched him off.

Then he resumed his training.

Two months later, Son Goku felt it was time to attempt the Super Saiyan 2 transformation.

He used Instant Transmission to reach the moon, transformed into a Super Saiyan with a loud shout, then began attempting Super Saiyan 2. "Aah! Aah! Aah!"

Vegeta's power level reached 3.1 million, while Son Goshin and Son Gohin both reached exactly 3 million.

After the three told Son Goku about their progress, he had them begin attempting the Super Saiyan transformation.

Three days later, after three attempts, all three finally succeeded in transforming into Super Saiyans.

That day, while Son Goku was training as usual, King Kai "called" again. He said that a man named Turles had been planting Trees of Might everywhere and had already devastated more than a dozen planets. He asked Son Goku to help eliminate him.

Son Goku agreed without hesitation.
