Son Goku let out a roar. Fierce winds instantly rose around him as his aura swelled rapidly. His hair began turning golden, and golden flames surrounded him. Moments later, he had transformed into a Super Saiyan.
This world's Son Goku and Vegeta sensed his aura and were horrified. His aura as a Super Saiyan already surpassed theirs as Super Saiyan 2s.
Son Goku paid that no mind. With another roar, he began transforming into Super Saiyan 2.
His aura surged like a fountain, his golden hair stood on end, and a single lock hung over his forehead. Lightning crackled around his body.
This world's Son Goku, Vegeta, and everyone else were stunned by his vast, overwhelming aura.
Son Goku told them, "Next, I'll show you the Super Saiyan 3 transformation."
This world's Son Goku and Vegeta exclaimed in shock, "There's another transformation beyond Super Saiyan 2?"
Son Goku said, "Of course. You didn't think Super Saiyan 2 was the limit, did you? Surely not. Surely not?"
Along with their shock, this world's Son Goku and Vegeta felt considerable joy. Knowing which direction to train in gave them a goal and motivation, so they no longer had to fear their strength stagnating.
Vegeta said, "Please, continue your demonstration. Let us see just how terrifying Super Saiyan 3's power is."
Son Goku said, "No problem."
With that, he let out a roar and began bellowing as though he were constipated. A flash shot through everyone's minds, and they felt an aura so powerful it was suffocating radiating from his body.
"Aah! Aaaah! Aaaaaah! Aah!"
After a full three minutes of roaring, Son Goku finally transformed into Super Saiyan 3.
The Son Goku before them had long golden hair that reached his waist, a protruding brow ridge, and no eyebrows. His green eyes were cold and emotionless, and together with his stern face, they gave him a sinister air. Golden flames enveloped his body, while dense arcs of lightning surrounded him.
Sensing Son Goku's aura, everyone felt like a drop in the ocean, utterly insignificant.
Son Goku said, "Sorry for the wait. This is Super Saiyan 3, the form beyond Super Saiyan 2."
This world's Son Goku said, "So this is Super Saiyan 3. Its aura really is immense, and its power is unfathomable."
Son Goku said, "The Super Saiyan 3 transformation is four hundred times as powerful as your base form, eight times as powerful as Super Saiyan 1, and four times as powerful as Super Saiyan 2."
Vegeta said, "That's a truly terrifying increase in power."
Everyone nodded at his words.
Son Goku dropped his Super Saiyan 3 transformation and returned to his base form. He told everyone, "The path of training never ends. Keep working hard, everyone."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Son Goku said, "I came here to bring you back to life. Do you agree?"
Everyone exchanged looks. This world's Son Goku said, "Before you came, we weren't planning to return to life. But after seeing how strong you and Trunks are, we've decided to come back."
Son Goku asked, "Why is that?"
Vegeta said, "When it comes to training, without pressure, there's no motivation. After Kakarot and I surpassed the Androids, we grew a little complacent, and our progress slowed. Only when we face powerful enemies does our strength increase rapidly. Trunks is the best example. That's why we've all decided to return to life."
Son Goku nodded. "You're right, Vegeta. I have a feeling your world will face more powerful enemies in the future. You can't rely on Trunks alone, so you'll have to shoulder that responsibility too."
Everyone nodded at his words.
Seeing this, Son Goku told them, "In that case, wait here for a little while. Trunks and I will make a trip to Planet Namek."
He then used Instant Transmission, bringing Trunks to Planet Namek in the blink of an eye.
Son Goku soon found Moori, the current Grand Elder.
Seeing Son Goku, Moori said happily, "Mr. Son Goku, it's been over ten years, but you're still as impressive as ever."
Son Goku smiled. "You're too kind, Grand Elder. I've come to Planet Namek to ask a favor. I hope you can help."
The Grand Elder said, "Goku, there's no need to be so polite. You're an honored guest of Planet Namek. If there's anything we can do to help, we certainly won't refuse."
Son Goku nodded, then explained the entire situation to the Grand Elder.
After hearing him out, the Grand Elder expressed his deep sympathy and ordered his people to bring the Dragon Balls immediately.
Son Goku thanked him again.
An hour later, the elders brought over the seven Dragon Balls.
Son Goku summoned Porunga at once.
Then, in the Namekian language, he said to Porunga, "Porunga, my first wish is for you to resurrect a Namekian named Piccolo."
Porunga said, "That wish is very simple."
A red light flashed in his eyes, and far away on King Kai's Planet, the halo above Piccolo's head vanished.
Porunga said, "Your first wish has been granted. What is your second wish?"
Son Goku pondered for a moment before saying, "Eliminate the effects of gravitational time dilation on me."
Porunga fell silent for a long time before saying, "My power can only eliminate the time dilation caused by up to ten billion times normal gravity. Do you still wish to proceed?"
Son Goku said, "Yes. Please grant that wish!"
A red light flashed in Porunga's eyes, and he said, "That wish has been granted. What is your next wish?"
Son Goku thought for a moment, then said, "Let me know the locations and gravitational parameters of every black hole in the universe. That counts as one wish, right?"
Porunga pondered for a moment. "Yes." Then a red light flashed in his eyes.
Son Goku felt a great deal of information appear in his mind. Fortunately, his years of cultivating godly power had given him formidable mental strength. Otherwise, he might really have been left an imbecile.
Porunga told Son Goku, "All your wishes have been granted. Farewell." With that, he vanished.
Son Goku then asked the Grand Elder to choose someone from among his people to go to Earth and modify the Dragon Balls.
When the Grand Elder told his people, Dende volunteered. Son Goku then used Instant Transmission to bring Trunks and Dende back to Kami's Lookout.
By then, Kami had already returned to life. He was overjoyed to see Son Goku, Trunks, and Dende. Seeing Dende, a fellow Namekian, in particular made him ready to put some of his ideas into action.
Son Goku explained his plan to modify Shenron, and Kami agreed.
Mr. Popo brought over the model of Shenron. After working on it, Dende told Son Goku, "Uncle Goku, I've finished modifying Shenron. You can make your wishes now."
Son Goku nodded, then addressed the seven Dragon Balls. "Come forth, Shenron, and grant my wishes!"
Thunder cracked across the sky, and Shenron made his dazzling entrance. In a deep, rumbling voice, he told Son Goku, "You who have summoned me, I can grant you any three wishes."
Son Goku knew Shenron was boasting, but did not call him out on it. He said, "My first wish is for you to resurrect the humans killed by the Androids, except those who are utterly evil."
Shenron pondered for a moment. "It can be done." A red light flashed in his eyes, and he told Son Goku, "Your first wish has been granted. Please state your second wish."
Son Goku said, "My second wish is to restore Earth's buildings to their original condition."
Shenron pondered for a long time. "It can be done." Then a red light flashed, and he asked Son Goku, "What is your third wish?"
Son Goku said, "My third wish is to master the Saiyan method of creating a moon."
Shenron said, "That wish is very simple." A red light flashed, and a great deal of knowledge appeared in Son Goku's mind.
After granting the wish, Shenron said, "All your wishes have been granted. Farewell."
