"Mmm, what an unusual texture." It was Lin Xingye's first visit to William's country, and everything felt new to him. Since he couldn't understand the language, though, Cheng Yu handled all the communication.
Of course, a certain someone thoroughly enjoyed having Lin Xingye obediently follow at his side, looking up at him with those big, watery eyes whenever anything came up, utterly dependent on him and trusting him.
It gave his wild possessiveness immense satisfaction.
"Do you like it?" Cheng Yu rubbed his cheeks. He had booked the entire floor, so there were no other guests there besides the two of them.
He had specifically asked the staff to replace all the decorations with bouquets, turning the beautiful restaurant into something like a little garden, dotted with flowers.
People here usually sat across from each other when they ate, but Cheng Yu pulled Star right to his side, letting him lean against him. Even the smallest movements kept them nestled intimately together.
Lin Xingye happily accepted the petting and nodded. Although the dishes tasted unfamiliar, he quite liked them.
Cheng Yu had him try plenty of other dishes, too, pushing everything he liked toward him. Whenever Star only ate a little of something or showed little interest in it, Cheng Yu quietly moved it over to his own side and finished it himself.
"I'm stuffed." Lin Xingye's belly was round from eating. He leaned against Cheng Yu out of habit, his gaze drifting toward the beautiful night view outside.
Cheng Yu finished the remaining food and rubbed his belly. "What is it? Getting bored? Want to go see An Shi? I think he has today off."
Lin Xingye nodded vigorously. Cheng Yu really did understand him.
An Shi was studying at a hospital here, so naturally he had to work.
