Several days passed.
Several days had passed since the funeral and Tsunade's appointment as Hokage.
Since Tsunade took office, the arrival of a new Hokage had done much to ease tensions in the village, and she had accomplished a great deal.
As for the talk of declaring war on Cloud Shadow Village, which had come up at the funeral and during the election, it had gradually died down.
No one was shouting about it anymore, because one of the things Tsunade had done was root out spies. She had caught many agents from Kumogakure and other villages.
The captured spies were interrogated for information. Those who were particularly foul-mouthed and stubborn were even executed in public. That had given people an outlet for their anger, though only a small one.
After all, they had lost a Kage in exchange for a handful of minor spies. No matter how they looked at it, that was hardly worth it.
"Hmm..."
Luo Mang walked along the road, surveying his surroundings and nodding. It looked like he could resume writing in the Diary.
Things had been tense over the past few days, and he had not wanted to interrupt Jiraiya and Tsunade's grief, so he had refrained from writing in the Diary.
Or rather, he had written very little, just enough to earn a writing treasure chest.
Now that the tension had eased and so much time had passed since the Hokage election, he could finally write longer entries in the Diary and see whether he could trigger some more videos.
Even if he could not, he could still offer some advice on governing the village.
For instance, regarding future battles, he loved peace too, but that did not mean he would welcome someone with a smile when they came right to his doorstep
