Hearing the Slug Sage's words, Uchiha Sora and Hashirama Senju exchanged a glance.
They quickened their pace, racing toward the largest island.
Before long, the two reached the island.
Up close, the bones on the island looked even more enormous, each one as white as jade.

Following the voice, they took in the various towering bones around them as they headed deeper into the island.
The farther they went, the stronger the pungent odor in the air became.
Soon, they passed through the layers of bones, and the view finally opened up before them, revealing a vast clearing.
In that clearing lay a small lake.
To their astonishment, the entire lake consisted of a pale yellow liquid. This was where the pungent smell came from.
At the center of the lake stood a small hill.
Two long feelers extended from the top of that hill. It was the Slug Sage's head!
The rest of her body lay hidden beneath the lake.
Her head alone measured over a hundred meters!
The Slug Sage spotted the two standing on the shore from afar, and her gentle voice rang out again. "Guests who have traveled from afar, welcome to Shikkotsu Forest. Please come closer so we may speak."
This time, Uchiha Sora and Hashirama Senju finally saw the Slug Sage open her mouth to speak.
As her voice faded, the pale yellow liquid that formed the lake began rushing back into her mouth.
As though drawn by a siphon, all the pale yellow liquid in the lake was sucked into the Slug Sage's mouth in no time.
Only then was the Slug Sage's full form finally revealed before them.
"She's... enormous!" Hashirama could not help exclaiming.
