Accelerated taijutsu training 2 Sparring with Izumi activates automatic taijutsu training; his technique and reactions improve during the match.
Genin; swordsmanship foundation 5 Graduates at seven and joins Masaki’s team. His first practice with Yugao triggers accelerated swordsmanship training.
Wind Release awakened 5 The system grants Wind affinity after a chakra test initially identifies only Fire.
Two-tomoe Sharingan; approximately ordinary-Jonin chakra reserves 6 Both are established before he develops advanced ninjutsu; his chakra refinement has trained automatically for nearly two years.
Rasengan mastered 6 The system completes training shortly after he begins following the technique’s development method.
Ordinary Sage Body 6 His physique evolves automatically. An unsuccessful attempt to learn Rasenshuriken because of insufficient chakra also accelerates chakra refinement.
Fire Dragon Flame Bullet mastered 7 Automatically completes the B-rank technique provided by Masaki before the Chunin Exams.
Three-tomoe Sharingan; Shiranui and Binding Technique mastered 9 Keeps his eyes’ advancement secret and uses automatic training to master genjutsu from Shisui’s notes.

Mount Myōboku Sage Mode confirmed 101 Combines senjutsu with Mangekyō power to defeat Sage Mode Jiraiya and repel Gamabunta.
Strength of a Hundred Seal and Creation Rebirth demonstrated 107 Releases stored chakra and recovers from exhaustion during his assault on Iwagakure’s forces.
Sharingan enters secluded cultivation 111 112 Begins a planned three-year evolution period. Activating even the three-tomoe form would interrupt progress, leaving Sharingan abilities and Susanoo unavailable.
Ultra Sage Mode demonstrated 143 Releases stored natural energy, transforming his physique and producing a golden chakra aura that Tsunade judges stronger than a tailed beast.
Hashirama-level Sage Body; Wood Release 183 A new constitution greatly increases chakra, vitality, and healing while granting Wood Release.
Hashirama-comparable normal chakra reserves 221 His enhanced body and training in Shikkotsu Forest bring his ordinary reserves to at least Hashirama’s level; the Yin Seal further extends endurance.
Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan 223 224 Pressure from Madara’s temporarily eternal-level eyes ends seclusion early. Sora’s eyes fuse with both Kotoamatsukami eyes stored in his body.
Boundary of Reality and Illusion 226 The fusion of his spatial dōjutsu and Kotoamatsukami produces a new ability combining space and illusion.

Rinnegan 291 Seeing Kaguya’s Rinnegan stimulates his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, triggering another system-assisted evolution.

Background / History

Academy and early missions

Sora is a transmigrator who knows the original story’s events and uses that knowledge to anticipate threats. Both of his parents are dead, leaving him a home but no powerful patron within the Uchiha Clan. Initially unable to perform much of the ninjutsu taught at the Academy, he gains an automatic-training system and resolves to hide his growth until he can protect himself 1 5 15.

He enters the Academy at six and graduates at seven alongside Itachi. Assigned to Uenaka Masaki with twelve-year-old teammates Hirai Mitsuteru and Uzuki Yugao, he undertakes routine missions and studies swordsmanship under Yugao. During his first Chunin Exams, he deliberately loses rather than attract attention through an early promotion 5 7 14.

Revealing his strength

Seeking a reliable escape technique against Obito, Sora plans to exploit the Kumogakure–Hyuga crisis to access the Scroll of Seals. He improves his genjutsu through Shisui’s notes and obtains the Flying Thunder God training method; Hiruzen later connects him to a child who entered his study and read the scroll more than two years earlier 7 9 12 29.

At ten, Sora enters another Chunin Exam and defeats Itachi despite Fugaku’s demand that he concede for the clan’s political interests. His public display of three-tomoe Sharingan draws attention from Hiruzen, Danzo, and foreign observers. Hiruzen promotes him and recruits him into ANBU, both to shield him from Danzo and to create a possible link between the village and the Uchiha 15 16 17.

Defection and Kusagakure

Following Shisui’s death, Sora shelters Izumi and Hazuki on a remote island and encloses it within Mirror Space. He raids Root for classified records, refuses Hiruzen’s demand to surrender, and leaves Konoha with the documents as leverage. The village declares him a rogue ninja with a 100-million-ryō bounty 26 28 29 32.

Sora begins recruiting people capable of opposing Akatsuki, winning Zabuza’s allegiance and asking him to locate Suigetsu, Kimimaro, and Haku. By the time Iwagakure invades Kusagakure, Sora commands its defenders and uses reincarnated elite shinobi alongside his living followers 33 51.

Preventing the Uchiha massacre

Sora returns to the restricted Uchiha compound and offers the clan an alternative to a coup: leave Konoha with him. Suspicious of how smoothly the discussions proceed, he secretly deploys six reincarnated shinobi to monitor the compound 67 68.

Their warning allows him to intervene when Itachi, Root, and Obito attack. He alerts Fugaku, mobilizes the police force, and confronts Obito, who retreats rather than fight him. The massacre plot fails and Root is destroyed; the Uchiha subsequently relocate to Kusagakure 69 71 84.

War and the Beast alliance

As Kusagakure faces attacks from several directions, Sora distributes Flying Thunder God kunai for emergency rescues, deploys reincarnated fighters to delay larger armies, and orders civilians evacuated. He permits the relocated Uchiha to defend their new village while arranging safeguards for their fighters 85 92.

After defeating Jiraiya, Sora spares the accompanying Konoha forces but requires Jiraiya to join Beast. He explains that the organization will unite jinchūriki against Akatsuki, pairing each with a supporting partner 101.

Another world’s Warring States era

Sora and Tsunade spend time in another world during its Warring States era. With his Sharingan unavailable during seclusion, he relies on swordsmanship, conventional genjutsu, senjutsu, and teleportation. He defeats Izuna and forces Madara to postpone an attack on the Senju, explaining that his desire to stop the feud stems from his relationship with Tsunade 144 156 165 178 243.

He fights alongside Hashirama, rescues the Senju brothers from Kaguya Yakki’s final attack, and helps defend the Uzumaki against the Ninja Clan Alliance. During a later duel with Madara, his eyes complete their evolution into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. After subduing the opposing forces, he brings about the founding of Konoha in that world 177 208 212 223 224 228 230.

Return and the Akatsuki conflict

Sora returns to find that Kusagakure and the Uchiha suffered heavy losses during his year-long absence. He recalls Hazuki from active duty, orders Zabuza to compile a list of enemies, and confronts the Fourth Raikage over attacks on Uchiha members at the Five Kage meeting 239 241 243 248.

When Akatsuki attacks, Sora sends a Wood Release clone to protect Naruto in Konoha while his original body confronts Pain in Kusagakure. He rapidly destroys five Paths, later fights Ten-Tails jinchūriki Obito and Six Paths Madara, and awakens the Rinnegan while facing Kaguya 253 262 266 285 288 291.

Postwar family life

After the war, Kaguya remains inside Sora because leaving his body would kill her. He rejects her proposal that he unite the shinobi world and become its god, choosing a peaceful life instead 308.

Tsunade gives birth to their daughter, Uchiha Tsuki. The couple conceals their identities and travels with her, returning to village affairs only when necessary. Sora’s remaining goals include finding the missing Fugaku and investigating the Ōtsutsuki homeland beyond the stars 308.

Appearance

  • Build: Tall and lean; nearly 170 centimeters tall by the clan meeting following his ANBU recruitment 22 173.
  • Hair and face: Black-haired and repeatedly described as handsome 69 143 147.
  • Clothing: Usually wears white with a longsword at his waist; also appears in a white Hokage robe while intervening in the massacre plot 22 69 126.
  • Mangekyō pattern: A hexagram; the Eternal Mangekyō adds a rotating four-pointed pinwheel pattern at its center 96 224.
  • Mount Myōboku Sage Mode: Orange-red markings appear around his eyes 239.
  • Ultra Sage Mode: His muscles swell, hair and pupils turn golden, eyebrows disappear, and a golden chakra halo surrounds him 143.

Personality

Sora initially prioritizes survival over recognition. He conceals his abilities, deliberately sacrifices a promotion opportunity, and prepares escape options against enemies who may target young Uchiha prodigies. His knowledge of future events makes him suspicious of apparently ordinary developments, especially where Obito and Konoha’s leadership are concerned 1 6 7.

He is cheerful and easygoing with friends, supportive of Mitsuteru’s wish to teach, and warm toward isolated children such as Naruto. His concern for loved ones is practical as well as affectionate: he gives them hidden teleportation markers, creates protected refuges, and responds personally to emergencies 7 17 30 85 122 153.

As his strength grows, Sora becomes openly defiant toward authorities. He refuses Fugaku’s demand to lose, bargains with Hiruzen from a position of leverage, and compels hostile clans to withdraw through threats backed by overwhelming force. Nevertheless, he recognizes genuine limits, admitting Hashirama’s superiority in ninjutsu and conserving temporary power rather than pursuing Madara recklessly 15 67 183 199 288.

Sora accepts lethal violence as part of war and does not regret destroying forces that invade Kusagakure. He can also show restraint, sparing defeated Konoha shinobi and treating Jiraiya’s injuries. His eventual rejection of world domination establishes family life—not permanent conquest—as his preferred future 51 101 308.

Abilities & Skills

Automatic Training System

  • His chakra refinement, physique, Sharingan, and learned techniques train independently; combat pressure can trigger sudden acceleration or new developments 1 2 19.
  • Reading instructions or observing a technique can provide the basis for automatic mastery. Copying ninjutsu with Sharingan still requires training before he can reproduce it perfectly 7 9 12.
  • Insufficient resources can block advancement: his early chakra reserves cannot support Rasenshuriken training 6.
  • Secluded Sharingan cultivation temporarily removes his ocular abilities, requiring him to fight without them 111 112.

Sharingan and Genjutsu

  • Perception and copying: Reads opponents’ movements and copies ordinary Fire and Wind ninjutsu 12 16.
  • Shiranui: A visual illusion that makes its target experience the pain of burning 9.
  • Binding Technique: Immobilizes opponents; his enhanced three-tomoe ocular power traps Orochimaru despite the Sannin’s attempt to counter the illusion 9 19 20.
  • 100% Damage Amplification: Doubles technique power while Sharingan is active, including Rasengan and genjutsu 24.
  • Non-ocular genjutsu: Can immobilize a guard through hand seals while his Sharingan is unavailable 156.
  • Eternal Mangekyō control: Turns Pain’s multiplying hellhounds against their controllers, with the illusion’s influence reaching Nagato 264.

Heavenly Divine Realm

  • Mirror Space: Creates an independent mirrored area using the space within a ten-kilometer radius of an island as its foundation. It serves as a refuge, document store, and rear base 26 29.
  • Access control: Sora determines who may enter; ordinary space-time techniques cannot connect to it, and conventional summoning does not work inside 26.
  • Kamui countermeasure: Prevents the then-current, one-eyed Obito from tracking him into the refuge; Sora distinguishes this from the greater dimensional access possible with both Kamui eyes 26.
  • Dankū: Forms spatial barriers for defense or concealment 26.
  • Space Break: Encloses him within transparent spatial barriers that withstand Jiraiya and Gamabunta’s combined fire attack and Gamabunta’s blade 96 97.
  • Early limitation: Ordinary Mangekyō overuse risks blindness 26.

Boundary of Reality and Illusion

  • Combines Heavenly Divine Realm’s spatial power with Kotoamatsukami’s illusion power after Eternal Mangekyō evolution 226.
  • Gives imagined beings physical form, including a manifested Sage of Six Paths whose Yin-Yang Release attacks the Ten-Tails 283.
  • Counters Madara’s Limbo defense during their Six Paths battle 288.
  • Powerful manifestations consume enormous ocular energy, and everything created disappears when the ability ends 283 284.

Kotoamatsukami

  • The two original eyes offer different forms of will alteration: one permanent, the other allowing a duration based on ocular strength 206.
  • Before fusion, Sora cannot use them during his Sharingan’s seclusion because foreign eyes require advance configuration with his own Sharingan 206.
  • After Eternal Mangekyō evolution, he can transfer ocular power to Yū and grant him access to Kotoamatsukami against reincarnated enemies 288.
  • Combined with senjutsu, it lets him resist Infinite Tsukuyomi, though doing so ties up much of his ocular power 289.

Susanoo

  • Manifests a pale-gold or golden warrior for defense and offense 71 101.
  • Reaches full-body armored form before his Sharingan enters seclusion 216.
  • Uses swords, Yasaka Magatama, and a bow to destroy Pain’s bodies 266.
  • Combines effectively with Sage Mode; a single strike defeats Jiraiya in Sage Mode 101.
  • Becomes unavailable while his Sharingan is secluded 111.

Flying Thunder God

  • Teleports to formulas placed on weapons, objects, or people; Jiraiya’s bodily marker is described as permanent 17 85 101.
  • Uses marked kunai for rapid attacks, battlefield extraction, and long-distance reinforcement 85 177 208.
  • Guiding Thunder: Redirects attacks and safely transports other people over short distances 88.
  • Distributes emergency kunai to subordinates; destroying a formula is used to summon his assistance 85.
  • Cannot be used while the Eight Gates’ violent chakra prevents the required circulation pattern 99.

Sage Bodies and Senjutsu

  • Ordinary Sage Body: Enhances his foundation and chakra growth early in his career 6 16.
  • Hashirama-level body: Grants Wood Release and major gains in chakra, vitality, and recovery 183.
  • Mount Myōboku Sage Mode: Strengthens combat abilities and allows him to locate distant allies and track fleeing enemies 101 130 166 253.
  • Super Sage Mode: Uses stored natural energy and can rival Six Paths power; it must recharge after use 223.
  • Dragon Sage Mode: A major late-stage trump card that can be stacked with Super Sage Mode 241 284.
  • Preparation: His newly developed senjutsu requires nearly a minute to gather energy in Ryūchi Cave’s dense environment and, by his estimate, over five minutes outside 236.
  • Resource limits: Large Sage Arts can exhaust his senjutsu chakra even when his ordinary reserves approach a tailed beast’s 176 221.

Swordsmanship and Taijutsu

  • Learns swordsmanship from Yugao and develops self-created techniques; by his duel with Itachi, both swordsmanship and taijutsu match specialist standards 5 16 33.
  • Wind Slash: Produces a gale capable of stopping an advancing swordsman before his attack connects 154.
  • Lightning Split Slash: Launches a lightning blade that cuts through Kaguya fighters’ hardened bones 173.
  • Channels lightning through his sword to increase its cutting power against Earth-hardened defenses 87 160.
  • Uses the Eight Gates, but their chakra disruption disables ninjutsu and genjutsu. Opening all eight would still damage his foundation despite his regeneration 99 223.

Ninjutsu, Clones, and Summoning

  • Rasengan variants: Uses ordinary and enlarged Rasengan, Sage Art Rasengan, and Sage Art: Great Ball Rasenshuriken 6 101 177.
  • Elemental techniques: Possesses all five elemental natures plus Yin and Yang by the Ten-Tails conflict, but has not mastered their fusion into Yin-Yang Release 282.
  • Wood Release: Restrains Pain’s summoned rhinoceros and creates durable physical clones 253 263.
  • Shadow Clones: Uses them for deception, delegated combat, and studying stolen records 32 92 284.
  • Wood Release clone: Possesses half his strength, survives nonfatal damage, and is convincing enough that Itachi’s Sharingan does not identify it as a clone 253 262.
  • Rashomon and Triple Rashomon: Summons defensive gates against large-scale attacks; Triple Rashomon begins failing under Yakki’s final bone barrage 96 177.
  • Impure World Reincarnation: Commands regenerating elite fighters, including Pakura, Kakuzu, Danzo, and Yamanaka Fū, for combat and surveillance 68 71 92 262.
  • Chōmei contract: Makes the Seven-Tails his summoned beast and uses it for flight and battlefield deterrence 194 199 212.

Medical Ninjutsu and Chakra Storage

  • Personally treats Jiraiya’s wounds and is sufficiently skilled to assist with Tsunade’s childbirth 101 308.
  • Uses the Yin Seal / Strength of a Hundred Seal to replenish chakra and extend endurance 107 112 221.
  • Creation Rebirth supplements his powerful constitution, though it does not remove the serious consequences of opening all Eight Gates 107 223.

Rinnegan

  • Awakens through system-assisted evolution during his confrontation with Kaguya 291.
  • Develops further spatial abilities that he regards as especially difficult for Isshiki to counter 301.
  • Before awakening it, plans to use its power both to revive Shisui and to absorb tailed-beast chakra; those plans are not themselves evidence that he completes either goal 194 224.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Short sword, later longsword — Begins with a purchased short sword for Yugao’s lessons, then replaces it with a longsword worn at his waist 5 22.
  • Flying Thunder God kunai — Teleportation anchors and emergency rescue tools distributed to his forces 85 92.
  • Marked necklaces — Gifts to Izumi and Hazuki containing hidden Flying Thunder God formulas 17.
  • Golden senjutsu chakra crystal — Given to Princess Xiaoyue; contains a marker that allows Sora to sense its use and come to her aid 153.
  • Scroll of Seals and stolen Root records — Sources of advanced and forbidden techniques, stored in Mirror Space and used as negotiating leverage 28 29 32 69.
  • Sealed Summoning Black Crow — Carries both Kotoamatsukami eyes until Sora’s Sharingan absorbs them during Eternal Mangekyō evolution 224.

Relationships

  • Tsunade — Partner and mother of Tsuki. Their relationship motivates his efforts to halt the Uchiha–Senju conflict; they later travel together as a family 178 308.
  • Uchiha Tsuki — Daughter. Sora spends most of his postwar time with her and Tsunade; she later attends Konoha’s Academy publicly as Tsunade’s adopted daughter 308.
  • Uchiha Izumi — Academy friend, training partner, and deeply attached companion. Sora shelters her, helps develop her combat skills, and comforts her after his year-long disappearance 2 26 32 243.
  • Uchiha Hazuki — Izumi’s mother. Sora protects her alongside Izumi and recalls her from active missions after returning to a depleted Kusagakure 17 243.
  • Uzuki Yugao — Former Genin and ANBU teammate, swordsmanship mentor, and later close companion. She risks her career to seek an explanation for his defection 5 18 32 308.

  • Uenaka Masaki — Genin instructor who teaches foundational skills and provides exam-preparation scrolls 5 6.
  • Uchiha Itachi — Childhood friend and rival, not a documented sibling. Village leaders exploit their friendship by ordering Itachi to assassinate Sora; later, Itachi still trusts Sora’s assurances about Naruto and Sasuke 7 29 30 262.
  • Uchiha Shisui — Genjutsu mentor and direct ANBU superior. Gives Sora an eye before dying; Sora continues seeking a way to revive him 9 22 25 224.
  • Kakashi Hatake — ANBU captain and later ally. Their initial test of authority gives way to cooperation, and Kakashi eventually recognizes Sora’s extraordinary growth 17 263 271.
  • Zabuza Momochi — Recruited follower who becomes one of Kusagakure’s senior leaders and Sora’s summit guard 33 243 248.
  • Uchiha Yū — Loyal subordinate and major Kusagakure fighter. Sora safeguards him in wartime, praises his Mangekyō ability, and entrusts him with borrowed Kotoamatsukami power 92 241 288.
  • Jiraiya — Defeated opponent whom Sora spares, treats, and requires to join Beast as a jinchūriki’s partner 101.
  • Naruto Uzumaki — Pupil and protected jinchūriki. Sora offers companionship, teaches shadow clones, and sends a powerful clone to rescue him from Akatsuki 122 253 257 262.
  • Uchiha Sasuke — Younger clansman under Sora’s protection. Sora respects his decision to train with Orochimaru while withholding news of Fugaku’s disappearance 129 262.
  • Hashirama Senju — Battlefield ally and sparring partner in the other world. Their cooperation protects the Senju and Uzumaki and helps lead to that world’s Konoha 177 183 208 228.
  • Madara Uchiha — Rival in both the Warring States encounters and the later Six Paths conflict. Sora uses their battles to test and advance his power 165 223 224 288.
  • Uchiha Fugaku — Clan leader whose authority Sora challenges before offering the clan an escape from Konoha. Finding the missing Fugaku remains a postwar goal 15 68 308.
  • Danzo Shimura — Enemy who targets Sora and his loved ones and orchestrates the attempted massacre. Sora raids Root and later confronts him directly 28 29 68 71.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi — Initially recruits Sora for protection and mediation, then authorizes action against him. Their relationship becomes openly hostile during Sora’s defection and negotiations 17 29 32 69.
  • Obito Uchiha — Persistent adversary whose manipulation and Kamui drive many of Sora’s preparations 6 26 69 285.
  • Mei Terumi — Ally whose support protects Kusagakure during Sora’s absence; openly expresses romantic interest in him 248 271.
  • Princess Xiaoyue — Rescued princess and pupil, given a marked chakra crystal for protection 147 153.
  • Kaguya Ōtsutsuki — Former opponent who remains dependent on living inside Sora after the conflict; her ambition for his godhood conflicts with his preference for peace 291 304 308.
