"Danzo, are you ready to die?" Uchiha Sora replied coldly.
Danzo laughed in fury. "Hahaha! Never in all my years have I seen anyone so arrogant! Uchiha Sora! Even Shisui Uchiha wouldn't dare run wild in my base!"
"Heh, you still have the nerve to mention Shisui?" Lightning lit up Uchiha Sora's hand.
Without another word, he charged straight at Danzo.
Lightning Release: Lightning Blade!
Danzo hadn't expected Uchiha Sora to attack outright. Once he reacted, he hastily drew the long sword concealed in his cane and thrust it at Uchiha Sora's body.
Uchiha Sora twisted aside, dodging the sword, and drove his Lightning Blade straight into Danzo's heart!

The Lightning Blade pierced straight through Danzo.

But a second later, Danzo's body vanished in a puff of white smoke.

Four thick earthen walls rose instantly, enclosing Uchiha Sora in a sturdy barrier.
The attacks from all sides struck the walls with violent crashes and explosions, leaving them on the verge of collapse.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere!" Danzo's voice rang out.
A powerful blast of wind slammed into one wall. Already strained beyond its limits, it crumbled instantly as a powerful air cannon punched through it and hurtled straight toward Uchiha Sora!
Standing a short distance away, Danzo wore a mocking expression, as though sneering at Uchiha Sora for overestimating himself.
Just then, Uchiha Sora pulled a Flying Thunder God Kunai from his ninja tool pouch and hurled it toward the ceiling overhead.
A second later, Uchiha Sora vanished.
The air cannon tore past without so much as brushing the hem of Uchiha Sora's clothes.
"He disappeared?" The surrounding Root members widened their eyes in disbelief.
Trapped on all four sides, who could possibly evade an attack like that?
"Above us!" Suddenly, someone pointed at the underground hall's ceiling and cried out.
Uchiha Sora stood upside down on the ceiling, holding the Flying Thunder God Kunai.
His crimson Three-Tomoe Sharingan stared coldly down at everyone below.
A flicker of uncertainty appeared on Danzo's grim, aged face. "Was that the Flying Thunder God Technique?"
His sharp eyes had spotted the kunai bearing a special formula in Uchiha Sora's hand.
As a student of the Second Hokage, how could he possibly be unfamiliar with such a kunai?

"Is that so? Then let me tell you something, Danzo. Just now, I placed Flying Thunder God markers all over this Root base of yours. Do you think you'll ever feel safe staying here again?" Uchiha Sora suddenly said with a smile.
Danzo's expression changed.
"Uchiha Sora, stop bluffing!" Danzo said coldly. "Do you think I have no way to deal with you?"
With that, Danzo abruptly tore away the bandages covering the other half of his face.
A crimson Sharingan was revealed.
"This is Shisui's eye! Come on! Do you dare come closer?" Danzo shouted.
His right eye bore the shape of a four-pointed pinwheel.
It was Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan!
Genjutsu had a limited activation range, and even a powerful genjutsu like Kotoamatsukami couldn't be activated from too far away.
Uchiha Sora's current position was still beyond Kotoamatsukami's reach.

Uchiha Sora frowned as he landed, feeling a twinge of regret. Even catching Danzo off guard hadn't been enough to kill him. It seemed there really was no chance of finishing him off inside his headquarters.
The next instant, his gaze shifted slightly. Rather than looking at the Root member who had pushed Danzo away, he looked at an orange-haired Root member off to the side.
"The Yamanaka Clan's secret technique... the Mind Body Switch Technique?" Uchiha Sora murmured.
That Root member had used the Mind Body Switch Technique to control the comrade closest to Danzo and take the fatal blow for him.
That was the only way to save Danzo. Otherwise, what ordinary Root member would truly sacrifice himself for him?
"Well done, Fū!" Danzo praised his subordinate after escaping the fatal strike.
Yamanaka Fū was still young, but the composure and powerful secret mental technique he displayed were already impressive.
Uchiha Sora frowned slightly. Fortunately, that Aburame Torune hadn't matured yet. Otherwise, even he wouldn't dare act recklessly.
