Arc 17Rumors and Revelations

Jiang Yingcheng exposed the Wei Clan’s betrayal and tried to follow Jiang Yanchuan to Beiming, while court schemes and fabricated rumors drew her into fresh disputes. The stretch ends with Fang Yiwan accusing the palace of switching her child and offering letters as evidence.

Arc 18Flight to Peach Spring

Jiang Yingcheng escaped with Lin Jinshu and reunited with her allies while the adults uncovered Prince Xin’s schemes and the danger at Beiming. She found the missing Jiang Yanchuan, and the group set out toward Peach Spring, where they approached Chi Jingyang’s hidden refuge.

  • Jiang Tinghuai exposed Gao Lan’s letter as a forgery, while Jiang Yingcheng fled with Fang Siwan and Lin Jinshu amid accusations of a baby swap.
  • Jiang Yingcheng and Lin Jinshu were captured, escaped from Prince Jing’s residence, and were repeatedly pursued by Jiang Yi'an, who kept them close as he investigated Prince Xin’s involvement.

Arc 19The March on Beiming

Jiang Yanchuan persuaded Spring Renewal Valley’s residents and experts to join Great Rui, while Jiang Yingcheng learned the truth about her identity and received her father’s reassurance. As Great Rui advanced into Beiming, Jiang Yanchuan disappeared and was found again, and Jiayu City surrendered under Guan Zhili.

  • Chi Jingyang’s cavern trap drove Jiang Yanchuan’s group toward the entrance, but Liaochen found Chi Jingyang hiding in a secret passage.

Jiang Yingcheng helped Emperor Mingze secure Beiming’s hidden wealth, exposed the people who had abused Guan Zhili, and rescued children from a trafficking scheme. As they set out for Great Rui, Jiang Yanchuan remembered that Guan Zhili’s birth mother was held by Prince Xin, while trouble arose ahead on the road.

  • Commoners revealed hidden treasure stores, and Jiang Yanchuan sent guards to investigate while Jiang Yingcheng reassured them that Emperor Mingze would treat them well.
  • Jiang Yingcheng led Guan Zhili through Beiming Palace, where she punished the servants who had bullied him and exposed Guan Xiqiao’s abuse and bribery.
