After hearing that voice, Kroya answered calmly, then asked, "You're the Telai River, aren't you?"
It really wasn't difficult to guess.
Although he could hear breezes and flowing water, what he sensed most strongly was the spiritual energy coming from the river before him. Clearly, the river itself was communicating with him.
"Sun, you don't seem surprised."
The breeze continued to swirl around Kroya, carrying what sounded like a soft chuckle. The voice was neither male nor female, but entirely neutral.

Well, Kroya thought back over his experiences since arriving here.
Leaving aside his mysterious Golden Finger and the Poem of Rainbow Light, he seemed to have encountered quite a few extraordinary beings already.
The Angel in the lake behind the mountain, the Ark, the Merfolk Tribe's Void God, and the Moon Sea inside the bottle...
Honestly, any one of them was probably far more powerful than the Telai River's Nature Consciousness.
He had simply seen too much, and he had already prepared himself for this possibility. Since those pink finless porpoises could receive nature's favor, they could obviously attract nature's will as well.
With that preparation, of course he wasn't surprised.
So he merely smiled. "I'm certainly happy to meet you. Is there something you'd like to tell me?"

The sounds of wind and flowing water around him paused for an instant.
Then the river answered, "Sun, the wind you brought from the ocean awakened me. It melted the ice and set the fish swimming, rousing me from my long slumber."
"I have little time to speak with you, Sun."
"I wanted to tell you that the dam built by these gray-toothed beavers has received the favor of nature's magic. It will gather the surrounding mana on its own."
