Hu Xiaotian avenged Tang Tiehan, defeated the plotters behind his murder, and took control of Ji City. As he prepared to marry Long Xiyue at Cloud Marsh, Qiqi and allies from across the region made their way to the wedding.

• Hu Xiaotian invited Qiqi to his wedding to Princess Yingyue, and Qiqi said she would attend if the wedding went ahead without a hitch.
• After Tang Tiehan was murdered, Hu Xiaotian traveled to Ji City and discovered that Guo Shaoxiong and the Han'erjin Tribe were involved in the attack.
• Hu Xiaotian joined forces with tribes opposed to the Han'erjin Tribe and infiltrated its camp with Xiong Tianba, where he learned Unenlightened had manipulated Guo Shaoxiong.
• Li Yuncong intervened in Hu Xiaotian and Unenlightened’s fight, but Xiong Tianba gained their power and killed both men.
• Hu Xiaotian killed Guo Guangbi, returned to Ji City, and worked with Xie Jian to secure control of the city and its troops.
• Qiqi confirmed she would attend Hu Xiaotian’s wedding, while Yang Lingqi reported that Hu’s control of Ji City and Xingzhou gave him command of the Western Regions trade route.

Hu Xiaotian married Long Xiyue, formed the Gold and Jade Alliance, and used the refugee crisis to take control of Yunyang while sheltering displaced people. As Western Sichuan’s leaders debated surrendering to Great Kang, Li Honghan killed Long Yefang to destroy his father’s bargaining chip and fought Li Tianheng.

• Zou Yong revealed that Tang Jingyu and Tang Jiucheng had vanished in Black Hu and traded the Sun-Shooting Scripture for Hu Xiaotian’s copy of the Void Art, while Baobao warned Hu Xiaotian about Hong Beimo.
• Hu Xiaotian learned from Old Madam Xu that she had carried human embryos through a faulty time-space jump, created descendants including Hong Beimo and Hu Buwei, and hidden a spaceship whose technology could make Hong Beimo dangerous.
• Hu Xiaotian married Long Xiyue, revealed her identity as Princess Anping, and announced the Gold and Jade Alliance with Long Xuanjiao as its mutual-defense pact.
• After storms, floods, and an earthquake devastated Western Sichuan, Hu Xiaotian brought supplies to Yunyang and urged Su Yuchi to admit vulnerable refugees, but Su followed the court’s order to keep them out.
• When refugees forced their way toward Yunyang’s West Gate, Zong Tang blasted it open with the Heaven-Shaking Thunder, and the ensuing fighting ended with Su Yuchi dead and Yuan Qingshan opening the city gates.
• Hu Xiaotian took control of Yunyang without a battle, gained permission to administer it, and arranged to shelter up to three hundred thousand refugees with grain bought from the Fragrant Kingdom and Bohai.
• As Li Tianheng considered surrendering Western Sichuan to Great Kang, Yang Haoran urged Li Honghan to destroy the plan’s leverage, and Li Honghan poisoned and beheaded Long Yefang before confronting his father.

Hu Xiaotian investigated Li Tianheng’s assassination and uncovered Hu Buwei’s growing control over Western Sichuan and the Fragrant Kingdom. He then went to the Five Immortals Cult to find Xi Yan, but became trapped with Old Monster Beize beneath its headquarters.

• Li Honghan poisoned Li Tianheng and took power in Western Sichuan, while Li Honghan’s master guided his sword into his father’s chest and disappeared.
• Qiqi sent Hu Xiaotian to Western Sichuan, where Li Wuyou asked him to uncover her father’s murder and pursue justice.
• Hu Xiaotian learned that Hu Buwei had gained control of the Fragrant Kingdom and helped it seize Redwood River and tighten its hold over Western Sichuan.
• Before leaving, Hu Xiaotian promised Li Wuyou he would find Xi Yan and protect them both, then traveled toward the Five Immortals Cult.
• Hu Xiaotian reached the cult’s headquarters and was led into a trap beneath the lake, where he encountered Old Monster Beize in the Bone-Melting Prison.
• Hu Xiaotian and Old Monster Beize failed to break through the prison’s crystal dome, then agreed to cooperate and consider using a meeting with Rong Shi to escape.

Hu Xiaotian escaped the Five Immortals Cult with Xi Yan, learned the truth behind Granny Shadow’s past, and returned to political struggles involving Qiqi, Ren Tianqing, and the Blue Skulls. The arc ended with Qiqi agreeing to help Hu Xiaotian enter Dragon Spirit Wonderland in exchange for an explanation of Ren Tianqing’s skull.

• Hu Xiaotian and Old Monster Beize used the Blue Skull to draw out Madam Meizhuang, and Hu Xiaotian flooded the Bone-Melting Prison while rescuing Xi Yan.
• Granny Shadow freed Xi Yan, revealed that Cult Leader Qin had not killed Qin Se, and told Hu Xiaotian that Murong Zhan was her son with Li Yuncong.
• Granny Shadow died before revealing the Purple Lightning Pearl’s location, and Hu Xiaotian used Xi Yan’s hairpin to open a passage whose sluice gates triggered a volcanic eruption at Purple Dragon Mountain.
• Hu Xiaotian killed Old Monster Beize, reached Yunyang with Xi Yan, and learned that her Heart-Loss Gu could only be cured by the person who implanted it.
• Hu Xiaotian met Qiqi and disclosed Hu Buwei’s influence in the Fragrant Kingdom, the secrets of the Blue Skulls, and his theory that Ling Jiazi was Qiqi’s mother.
• Ren Tianqing presented Qiqi with a skull, and she declared it fake before using the exchange to make Hong Beimo suspicious of him.
• Qiqi agreed to help Hu Xiaotian enter Dragon Spirit Wonderland if he explained Ren Tianqing’s skull, and Hu Xiaotian bargained for the skull before pulling her into his arms.
