Background & History
Rahou's Demon Clan
The earliest Demon Clan was a special race created by Rahou. Unlike ordinary Primordial beings, its members did not leave souls after death. Rahou deployed them during the aftermath of the Three Clans War, when they attacked the already exhausted Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans amid dense demonic energy and widespread slaughter. 35
The three clans temporarily united against the demons but were unable to withstand them alone. Tongtian entered the battle, killing Demon Clan powerhouses and absorbing many others into the Heavenly Yellow Linglong Pagoda to be destroyed by Solar True Fire. The clan's members were considered a source of Heavenly Dao Merit because they were not tolerated by the Heavenly Dao. 35
During the campaign against Rahou, the Demon Clan defended the Western World and Mount Tianmo. Its immense army, commanded by Mora and supported by Grand Luo Golden Immortal experts, ambushed Hongjun's group and was ordered to prioritize killing Laozi and Yuanshi. 41
Tongtian volunteered to hold back the army while Hongjun and the other Primordial powerhouses confronted Rahou. He fought through hundreds of millions of demons, severely wounded Mora, and ultimately annihilated the Demon Clan army while Rahou activated the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation against Hongjun's side. 43
Celestial Court Demon Clan
After Dijun and Taiyi strengthened themselves, they planned to gather the power of the myriad races into a new Demon Clan capable of competing for dominion over the Primordial World. Their strategy relied on recruiting powerful Innate beings rather than ruling through the two brothers alone. 59
Dijun and Taiyi formally established the Demon Clan and Celestial Court on the Thirty-Third Heaven, inviting all beings of the Demon Clan to cultivate there. The faction's founding was recognized by the Heavenly Dao and brought it substantial fortune. 64 65
The newly founded clan was immediately challenged by the Witch Race. Hongjun halted the conflict, decreeing that the sky belonged to the Demon Clan and the earth to the Witch Race, while prohibiting further Witch-Demon warfare for one hundred thousand years. 65
Organization & Military Strength
Leadership
- Rahou — Demon Ancestor and leader of the original Demon Clan; Mount Tianmo served as his cultivation ground and the clan's sacred place 41.
- Dijun — Demon Emperor and co-founder of the later Demon Clan and Celestial Court 64.
- Taiyi — Demon Emperor and Dijun's brother; co-founder of the Celestial Court 64.
- Fuxi — One of the Four Emperors of the later Demon Clan; helped complete the Stellar Array of the Heavens 84 95.

- Mora — Commander of Rahou's Demon Clan army during the campaign at Mount Tianmo 41.
Demonic Army
Rahou's army could surround enemies from every direction and field large numbers of Grand Luo Golden Immortal experts. Its troops were characterized by overwhelming demonic energy, ruthless tactics, and orders to kill regardless of casualties. 41
- Demon Clan forces targeted weakened survivors of the Three Clans War. 35
- Mora commanded elite Grand Luo Golden Immortals and personally ambushed Laozi and Yuanshi. 41 42
- The army was numerous enough for Tongtian to describe it as hundreds of millions of troops. 43
- Many later Demon Clan Saints and great powers were forcibly recruited or joined opportunistically, weakening cohesion when the clan faced defeat. 74 97
Stellar Array of the Heavens
The later Demon Clan's principal strategic formation was the Stellar Array of the Heavens, developed to rival the Witch Race's Twelve Heavens Godly Fiends Formation. Dijun sought formation experts to complete it, while Fuxi later finished the array. 78 79 84
- Deployment — Activated by Dijun during the Witch-Demon War, with Bai Ze and Fuxi ordered to deploy it. 96
- Purpose — Served as the Demon Clan's decisive weapon against the Witch Race's formation. 96
- Loss — Kunpeng stole the Hetu and Luoshu during the battle, causing the formation to fail and exposing the Demon Clan to defeat. 96 97
Equipment & Assets

Major Conflicts
Suppression by Tongtian
Tongtian repeatedly obstructed the Demon Clan's expansion. He exterminated numerous members of Rahou's forces during the Dao-Demon conflict, earning Heavenly Dao Merit and preventing Rahou's forces from further devastating the three clans. 35 43
The later Demon Clan attempted to force the weakened Dragon Clan into submission through Kunpeng. Tongtian intervened because Ao Li, the Dragon Clan's eldest princess, was his mount, and declared the Dragon Clan under his protection. 72
Dijun and Taiyi led the Demon Clan army to the East Sea in response. Tongtian defeated both Demon Emperors alone, repelled the Chaos Bell with the Four Swords of Zhuxian, and heavily injured Dijun with the Zhuxian Sword and Azure Lotus Swordplay. 73
Following their defeat, Dijun and Taiyi were forced to swear a Heavenly Dao oath that their spiritual treasures would pass to Tongtian after their deaths. 74
Witch-Demon War
The Witch Race regarded the Demon Clan's ambitions as a direct challenge to its claim over the Primordial World. Their first assault nearly destroyed the newly founded Celestial Court before Hongjun intervened and imposed a truce. 65
After the truce, the Demon Clan expanded its strength, developed the Stellar Array of the Heavens, and eventually launched a new invasion of the Primordial World. The Ten Golden Crow princes' attack on Witch Race territory escalated the conflict into a full-scale Great Tribulation. 91 95
The Demon Clan initially fought the Witch Race with the Stellar Array of the Heavens, but Kunpeng's betrayal and theft of the Hetu and Luoshu destroyed its greatest advantage. With morale collapsing and many Demon Saints fleeing, Dijun and Taiyi refused to retreat and fought to the death. 96
Dijun and Taiyi ultimately self-destructed, ending the Demon Clan's leadership. Surviving members fled from the Thirty-Third Heaven, while Bai Ze, Jiuying, and other Demon Gods remained to protect the sole surviving Golden Crow Crown Prince. 97
