In Sunagakure, Kazekage Gaara was anything but calm. He had spotted birds that did not belong in the village. Although he did not know why no one had reported them, as Kazekage, he had to confront the enemy.
The terrain gave him a natural advantage against Deidara of the Akatsuki, but it was also a disadvantage. Inside the village, he could not fight without restraint, and he had to protect it as well.
While the two remained at a stalemate, Uchiha Mu and Madara appeared. Uchiha Mu looked up at the sky. "Must be nice. Everyone can fly."

"An enemy." Gaara's expression twisted. Clearly, the One-Tail had just surfaced, apparently having heard what Uchiha Mu said.
"An Uchiha..." Seeing Uchiha Mu's eyes and the gunbai crest on his clothes, Deidara immediately exposed the eye he had prepared, the one he had trained specifically to counter the Uchiha.
"Courtesy before force. Here I come." As he spoke, Uchiha Mu cast a genjutsu on both of them. Even the One-Tail fell under it. Then Uchiha Mu appeared inside Gaara, facing the One-Tail directly.
