After fully digesting his Serial Killer potion, he recruited Emlyn for an expedition to Fourth Epoch ruins, drawing the Moon into an impromptu Tarot Club gathering.

• Raphael shattered the Crimson Moon illusion with Sharron, returned to reality, and traded her the Eye of Illusions for Beyonder characteristics.
• Raphael killed grain merchants who had driven up food prices, publicized their murders, and began drawing the attention of official investigators.
• Raphael cooperated with Amon’s avatar to investigate Chernobyl and agreed to help destroy Bidis City while protecting some of Sorn City’s people.
• Raphael infiltrated the Iron and Blood Cross Order’s banquet and killed its Backlund leaders, including Eberhard and Dick, before escaping the burning hotel with severe wounds.
• MI9 investigated the massacre, and Xio reported Raphael’s strength and deity to the Tarot Club before Dewinter visited Raphael and revealed herself as a Sequence 4 demigod.
• Raphael contracted Pain as his messenger and sent letters to Audrey, Xio, and Carter.
• Raphael’s publicized murders of greedy grain merchants completed his Serial Killer potion digestion, and he asked Emlyn to join an expedition to Fourth Epoch ruins.

Raphael advanced to Wraith and Devil, then led Sorn City and Dark Hut disciples to victory over Bidisis with the Oldest One’s help. After returning from the Forsaken Land of the Gods, Raphael entered a strange painting to rescue Audrey and found her waiting in a theater.

• Raphael led Audrey, Fors, and Emlyn into an underground ruin, where they found a Wraith and encountered Yalix Eggers, who revealed the teleportation array’s history and trapped them with her power.
• Raphael and his companions escaped with the Lord of Evil Desires’ help, and Raphael concluded that Yalix awaited the Underworld Emperor’s return from the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
• Raphael advanced to Wraith, reshaped part of the Dark Hut, and learned that Sorn City faced a battle against Bidisis while Amon’s avatars had compromised its leadership.
• Raphael summoned seven Dark Hut disciples to the Forsaken Land of the Gods, advanced to Devil, and led the combined forces in a surprise attack on Bidisis.
• Raphael defeated Saint Jianlu and, after the Oldest One took control, destroyed the Starry Sky Monster, allowing Sorn City and the Dark Hut to rout Bidisis’s forces.
• Raphael divided the spoils, sent the Dark Hut disciples home, and learned that the Oldest One could wield Great Old One-level power through the Dark Hut for only six seconds.
• Susie impersonated Audrey and asked Raphael for help after Audrey entered a painting, and Raphael followed her into its dreamlike world.
• Raphael escaped a room of living sketches and entered a theater, where Audrey called him over as the audience watched.

Raphael and Audrey escaped the Mother of Heaven’s layered dream, while Raphael joined Rose Redemption and pursued his own advancement amid political upheaval and war. After Raphael and Sharron defeated Erlin’s attack in Backlund, Sharron agreed to help him obtain what he needed for his next advancement.

• Raphael and Audrey crossed the dream’s layers, met the Mother of Heaven, and escaped the Oil Painting after the Evernight Goddess’s phantom wounded him.
• Raphael learned that the Evernight Goddess had drawn Audrey into the dream and discussed the encounter at the Tarot Club, where the members warned against taking the painting to Antigonus.
• Raphael joined Rose Redemption under the code name Darkness and learned of conflicts involving the Iron and Blood Cross Order, the Red Angel’s evil spirit, and the Southern Continent.
• Raphael organized trades and alliances to advance his plans, negotiated with Sharron for help obtaining Marionette potion materials, and prepared to target a grain merchant.
• Raphael sold his painting “Gluttony” and made a devilish offering as Audrey advanced to Manipulator during Archbishop Anthony’s mass.
• Sharron warned Raphael that Erlin and the Temperance Faction were after him, then agreed to protect him while he arranged with Xio and Fors to help assassinate Botis.
• Erlin’s people attacked Raphael and Sharron, but Raphael killed Lucia and one Wraith and drove Erlin into the Spirit World, after which Sharron said Erlin had resigned and would not seek revenge in Backlund.
• Raphael began testing whether he could possess a homeless person near death.

Raphael killed Kisma, took control of the Aurora Order’s affairs in Loen and the Berserk Sea, and used brutal attacks to digest his Devil potion. After accepting an MI9 assassination mission in Conston, he killed Giles Ramsey and escaped with Xio, but their flight through the war zone ended with a battle against Elvis and the Iron and Blood Cross Order.

• Raphael killed Kisma with the Curse Crystal, took his Sealed Artifacts and ingredients, and gave Pain Kisma’s remains in return for help in a future fight.
• After Fors gave Raphael the Secrets Sorcerer characteristic, Freddy appointed him to oversee the Aurora Order’s affairs in Loen and the Berserk Sea.
• Raphael killed nobles and officials at a minister’s ball, using cruel games that digested much of his Devil potion.
• Raphael reunited with Sophia and made her general manager of the Mechanic Company, where they planned to build an assassination network and a life-protection service.
• MI9 used Xio as leverage to make Raphael accept a contract to assassinate Giles Ramsey in Conston, and Xio insisted on accompanying him.
• Raphael killed Giles and escaped with Xio, then evaded Erlin and the Mother Tree of Desire’s ambush before choosing to travel back toward Backlund with her.
• Raphael and Xio crossed the war zone, where Raphael killed a villager who refused to feed wounded soldiers, then fled as the Feysac army arrived.
• Elvis and Feysac Beyonders surrounded Raphael and Xio, but Raphael killed Elvis with the Curse Crystal and began fighting the remaining attackers.
