Out on the sea, three Marine warships were locked in battle, along with a pleasure ship carrying Celestial Dragons.
The massive figure wore a helmet that should have had two enormous horns, but one had snapped off. An old, frail man sat on his shoulder, wearing a helmet that also had one broken horn.
Had Barn been there, he would have recognized that massive figure immediately. It was the great pirate who had escaped Impel Down alongside him and Golden Lion-the "World Destroyer," Bandy Waldo!
World stared grimly at the three warships fighting on the sea before him, though his face betrayed neither joy nor anger. Without warning, he spoke.
"Beyo Jack, how long has it been since they started attacking?"
Seated on his shoulder, Beyo Jack shakily pulled a pocket watch from his coat, glanced at it, and replied.
"Eight minutes. Cough, cough..."
His health was so poor that even such a simple movement left him coughing for a long time.
Yet World seemed not to notice anything wrong with the health of the man he had once respected most. His grim gaze remained fixed on the warships as he said coldly,
"They're only three warships and one pleasure ship. This is taking far too long..."
The contempt in his voice was plain for anyone to hear.
"Cough, cough... That may be true, but these are the comrades we worked so hard to gather while you were gone!"
Realizing what World meant, Beyo Jack hurried to speak up, only for World to cut him off harshly.
"Just making up the numbers isn't enough!"
World interrupted Beyo Jack, then turned his gaze elsewhere and said,
"Nanting, Gairam, Sebastian. You have one minute. Show them what you can do."
Three people emerged from the darkness on the other side and answered.
