Background / History

Earth expedition and loss

Baiguo was originally the daughter of Captain Bai Hengshan, leader of an Earth expedition to Dora Star. She accompanied the mission after placing first in her class and intended to enter a cosmic-creature drawing competition with a work titled My Astronaut Father. 339 340

Interstellar criminals attacked the expedition. Bai Hengshan was killed while protecting Baiguo, and the remaining logistics personnel were massacred before her. Though still a child, Baiguo killed the prisoner boss by repeatedly stabbing him with a dagger. 341

An unknown female voice then offered to revive Bai Hengshan in exchange for Baiguo's Law Power. Baiguo accepted the bargain and entered the Insectoid Race's service. 341 420

Insectoid High Priest

Over the following three centuries, Baiguo became the Insectoid Race's High Priest. The Insectoid Queen valued her intelligence because the race's priests lacked the ability to manage complicated rituals and research on their own. 341

Her hatred of War Planet shaped her leadership. She cut herself once every year to preserve her memory of its crimes, eventually revealing a face marked by dense scars during negotiations with War Planet's delegation. 341

When the Insectoid Queen disappeared, Baiguo presented a Memory Crystal showing Ye Liang taking the Queen and used the incident to confront the Enlightenment. Her actions helped escalate the Dora Star conflict into war. 339 430

Conflict and alliance with Ye Liang

Baiguo initially treated Ye Liang as an enemy. She captured him in a cave, demanded his Law Stone, searched his Amenominaka storage space, and left him imprisoned after being summoned by the Queen. 330

She later infiltrated the Enlightenment under a disguise and attempted to kill Ye Liang and Mo Wu after Ye Liang identified her as the Dora Star High Priest. Ye Liang deduced that she intended to enter the Cosmic Grand Competition and convinced her that she could not pass its security without his help. 377

After Ye Liang established that Mo Hai had died from Underworld Realm power rather than at Baiguo's hands, she put away her weapon and agreed to assist him. Their cooperation continued when Ye Liang concealed her true form from Enlightenment soldiers at the Pillar of Authenticity. 377 382

Search for Bai Hengshan

Baiguo revealed to Ye Liang that her central goal had always been her father's resurrection and finding a route back to Earth. She followed Ye Liang after hearing that War King had discovered clues connected to Earth. 420 421

After her role in the Dora Star war was exposed, a military tribunal sentenced Baiguo to 100 years of exile. Ye Liang pleaded on her behalf and later accompanied her to search Dora Star for Bai Hengshan's body, but they found neither his remains nor any Death Qi. 430

Further investigation revealed that Bai Hengshan had been seen with powerful Rare Species Insectoids. Baiguo eventually found him alive in Hera City, but he initially denied knowing her because Queen Hera had kept him under house arrest for three centuries. 434 445

Appearance

Baiguo is a human woman who frequently conceals her identity through disguises. When the Pillar of Authenticity exposed her, her body became noticeably smaller and took on the appearance of Dora Star's High Priest. 382
