In the end, Belial abandoned the idea. Bringing down part of the Abyss just to deal with a single Low-Dimensional World-if word got out, how could he hold his head high as a Demon Emperor? What would become of his reputation?
Of course, those concerns were secondary. The main reason was that this was only Belial's clone. As Holy Spirit beings, their every move was watched by the gods who embodied the rules of the New Era.
Although only some of these embodiments of rules had taken shape and developed any combat strength, that did not change the fact that they were still Mythic. The great Abyssal Will had already issued a warning to every Demon Emperor.
These gods had established what they called the Pantheon, and even its lowest-ranking members were Epic.
Without question, the Pantheon was now the Abyss's greatest enemy. To avoid unnecessary friction, all the Demon Emperors were operating in secret.
Lucifer, Samael, and Mammon were the three Demon Emperors responsible for dealing with the Pantheon, actively devising countermeasures-or rather, conspiracies.
Leviathan was currently recruiting those Evil Gods into the Abyss, including the Mother of Serpents, the Filth Bird, and the Ashen Lord.
Beelzebub, meanwhile, had offended the Nine-Faced Dragon God by causing a branch of the Dragonfolk to fall into the Abyss. He was now stuck arguing with that dragon god in a material world.
Asmodeus had discovered a powerful supernatural civilization, but its so-called Great Sage had detected him during the corruption process, sparking a protracted struggle. Even now, he had not fully corrupted a gateway capable of supporting his descent, and his clones had suffered repeated setbacks in that world. Until he dragged the entire world into the Abyss, he probably would not have much time to spare.
Thus, of the seven Demon
