• Cheng Yu committed himself to defending the Eternal True World, held the Seventh Great Wall against the Demon Emperors, and withdrew the Allied Army once preparations were complete.
• Cheng Yu took unified command in Beijing City, organized its defenses, and faced the Heavenly Demons after the Seventh Great Wall’s Light Screen vanished.
• Kuang Cang, Chu Chang, Bai Man, and the other defenders fought through years of attacks as the Outer City Wall fell and the war moved into Beijing’s streets.
• Ling Xuan brought Thousand Sounds Domain musicians to support the Allied Army, while Cheng Yu waited for the Heavenly Dao’s word and Shen Yuan struggled not to intervene.
• As casualties and shortages mounted, Cheng Yu ordered Humankind and the Demon Race to gather more troops, and the Allied Army held Beijing through decades of assaults.
• In the fiftieth year, the Eternal Heavenly Dao stripped the Six Heavenly Dao Sages of their status, and Cheng Yu destroyed the demons around Beijing City in three steps.
• The sky shattered to reveal the clash between the Abyssal Will and the Eternal Heavenly Dao, and after the Abyssal Will overwhelmed Cheng Yu, Shen Yu took control and summoned the White Peacock.

After Shen Yu’s sacrifice ends the Second War, Cheng Yu enters a new life as Yunyangzi and investigates Demon Monsters and the Demon-Worshipping Cult. He destroys the cult’s attempted resurrection, frees Ji Han, and sets out for the Northern Abyss Islands with the water buffalo Niu Ba.

• Shen Yu became a Peacock-Plume Statue that held back the demons, ending the Second War as the Northern Continent broke apart.
• Nyarlathotep prepared Cheng Yu for his next role, upgrading Mad Song into the Mad Laughing Blade before sending him to possess Yunyangzi.
• Cheng Yu left the mountain temple with Wild Boar, reached a village, and learned about Demon Monsters and Daoist Stillwater’s disappearance.
• Cheng Yu and Ji Han traveled to Stillwater’s last known location, where Ji Han joined Gongliang She and Li Pei’er in investigating the Demon-Worshipping Cult.
• The cult captured Cheng Yu, but he used Mad Song to transform the blood-red bars and escape, then fought his way into its underground lair.
• Cheng Yu devoured the cult’s blood-red resurrection creature with Mad Song and later stored the evolving dead head inside the blade.
• Cheng Yu met Ji Han again, bought supplies and a mount, and learned from Niu Ba that the water buffalo came from the Central Continent and had heard of the Demon Race’s Great Sage.

Cheng Yu traveled with Wen Yang’s caravan into Demon territory, where he helped Lingling and then unleashed Little Red to destroy the monsters overrunning Azure Sky City. After learning that powerful forces were manipulating events, Cheng Yu headed for Fuzhou City and resolved to leave the Southern Continent.

• Cheng Yu reached Azure Sky City with Wen Yang, exchanged the Demon-Worshipping Cult’s Ritual Vessels for an Identity Token, and left with the merchant caravan toward Demon territory.
• Cheng Yu and Niu Ba killed the Broken Heart Half-Demons who pursued them, then crossed the frontier with Wen Yang’s caravan and reached Haiqi City.
• Cheng Yu used the Demon Laws to drive Pig Three away from Shopkeeper Hu’s inn, then settled accounts with Wen Yang and left Haiqi City with Niu Ba.
• Cheng Yu found Azure Sky City overrun by Demon Monsters and summoned Little Red, which tore through the city and consumed its inhabitants and forces.
• Wang Xu met Cheng Yu, who used the alias Juexin before leaving, while Wang Xu and a cloaked figure discussed turning Azure Sky City into a shell for the Divine Cult.
• Cheng Yu warned Niu Ba to keep the Demon Race’s secrets safe, then traveled to Fuzhou City and heard that Juexin had appeared on the Southern Continent Loose Cultivator Ranking.
• Cheng Yu briefly met Ji Han in Fuzhou City, learned about routes to the Eastern Continent, and decided to leave the Southern Continent the next morning.

Cheng Yu traveled across the Eastern Continent with Niu Ba, confronting a Demon Monster on the ferry and uncovering a tobacco operation in a village. In the Central Capital, he took Ji Han’s job destroying a Demon-Worshipping Cult hideout, then stocked up for the journey to Beiyou Prefecture.

• Cheng Ming killed Ji Hu, and the Great Qin Celestial Dynasty replaced Baiyue Prefecture’s officials and purged the Demon-Worshipping Cult’s forces.
• Cheng Yu boarded a ferry with Niu Ba, where the Ink Emperor took over the commander’s body after a Demon Monster attacked the ship.
• Cheng Yu traveled through the Eastern Continent with Niu Ba, defeated a Demon Monster attacking a merchant caravan, and collected spirit plants along the road.
• Cheng Yu investigated the New World Entertainment Club and destroyed the tobacco operation beneath the village, then left as the villagers celebrated their profits.
• Cheng Yu reached Tianlan City and the Central Capital, met Heru, and chose the overland route through Heavenly Gate Pass and the Haiyou Mountains to Beiyou Prefecture.
• Ji Han hired Cheng Yu to destroy a Demon-Worshipping Cult hideout, and Cheng Yu sent Little Red through the mountain to overwhelm the cult members.
• Cheng Yu returned to Ji Han for the rest of his payment, bought provisions, and parted from Heru after receiving a package of specialties from Heru’s world.
