The Holy Church defeated its enemies, expanded across the Shinobi and Pirate Worlds, and built alliances with Night Raid and Dragon. After breaking the World Government’s power in the East Blue and striking Mary Geoise, its forces ended the stretch surrounding Krieg and Gin while protecting Princess Vivi.

  • Urashiki attacked the Holy Light Clerics near Konoha, but Wei’er defeated him and revived Minato.
  • Ria freed Kaguya and the Ninja from the God Tree after Madara became the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki and activated Infinite Tsukuyomi.
  • Tatsumi proposed an alliance between Night Raid and the Holy Light Clerics, and Sayo restored Najenda’s arm and sight.
  • Najenda led Night Raid out of the Revolutionary Army and joined the Holy Church after Akame and Chelsea chose to join.

Arc 5The Holy Church and Night Raid

The Holy Church defeated Madara’s forces, freed Kaguya, and began planning a portal to other worlds. In a new world, Tatsumi and his friends joined the Clerics, traveled to the Imperial Capital, and encountered Night Raid after rescuing captives from Aria’s family.

  • Urashiki attacked the Holy Light Clerics outside Konoha, but Wei’er defeated him with Holy Flame and revived the injured Minato.
  • Obito stole the time-travel turtle and joined forces with Black Zetsu, while the Holy Church prepared to unite the Shinobi World and investigate abuses in the Land of Water.
  • Axel and the Holy Church forces fought Madara’s army and the Ten-Tails, but Madara became its jinchūriki and activated Infinite Tsukuyomi.
  • Ria arrived at the battlefield, defeated Madara’s attacks, freed the Ninja from the God Tree, and released Kaguya from her seal.
  • Ria healed Madara and ordered him to atone, while the Holy Church sentenced Black Zetsu, Kakuzu, and Orochimaru and began planning a Starry Sky Portal.
  • Tatsumi, Yas, and Sayo met Yi Yong’s Holy Light Clerics, awakened holy light, and left their village for the Imperial Capital.

Arc 6Night Raid Joins the Holy Church

Tatsumi brought Night Raid into an alliance with the Holy Church, whose work and treatment of ordinary people persuaded the assassins to abandon the Revolutionary Army. As the Church defeated Imperial forces and Esdeath took an interest in Madara, Night Raid left the revolutionaries and was welcomed as part of the Church.

  • Tatsumi proposed cooperation between Night Raid and the Holy Light Clerics, and Sayo healed Najenda’s missing arm and restored her sight.
  • Iron Hammer’s clerics arrived to support Night Raid, and their arguments about ordinary people’s right to resist oppression exposed tensions with the Revolutionary Army.
  • Iron Hammer’s squad and Night Raid killed Zank the Beheader, whose burning body spread the Holy Flame through the palace and prompted the Emperor to recall Esdeath.
  • Will and the Holy Light Clerics defeated the Four Rakshasa Demons in Longxi City, ended the Path of Tranquility Church’s violence, and freed Lord.
  • Akame and Chelsea investigated the Church’s village and daily work, then chose to join it after seeing how it helped ordinary people.
  • Najenda led Night Raid out of the Revolutionary Army and accepted the Church’s support, while Madara killed Esdeath’s Three Beasts and later fought her at her matchmaking tournament.

Arc 7The Holy Church Expands

Night Raid helped the Holy Church defeat the Empire’s rulers, then traveled with Tatsumi to the Shinobi World as the Church expanded into the Pirate World. The Church seized a city and the Goa Kingdom, drew the World Government’s attention, and prompted Dragon and Shanks to head toward the East Blue.

  • Madara and Hashirama destroyed the Imperial Palace and killed Syura and the minister, while Night Raid and Esdeath’s forces defeated their opponents and Akame reunited with Kurome.
  • The Holy Church’s army entered the Imperial Capital, punished nobles and criminals, and restored wealth and aid to residents as Night Raid prepared to leave for the Shinobi World.
  • Night Raid reached the Shinobi World, where Ria welcomed them, appointed Tatsumi a bishop, and gave their Imperial Arms Holy Power upgrades and Gold Cloths.
  • Axel entered the Pirate World with the Holy Grail, and the Holy Light Clerics established a base near the garbage dump and brought Ace, Sabo, and Luffy to a shelter, where Sabo chose to become a cleric.
  • Kumata’s forces captured the nearby city and then the Goa Kingdom, while the Holy Church aided displaced people and abolished noble privileges.
  • Kumata held a press conference where he presented the Holy Church’s goals and showed reporters a large-scale military exercise.
  • The Holy Church’s message spread through the newspapers, leading the Five Elders to order a Buster Call against Goa, Dragon to set out for the East Blue, and Shanks to sail toward Foosha Village.

Arc 8The Holy Church’s Rising Power

The Holy Church defeated the Navy in the East Blue, allied with Dragon, and intervened against the World Government’s assaults on Ohara and Mary Geoise. The World Government’s authority weakened as the Holy Church expanded its influence, and the arc ended with its forces confronting Krieg’s pirates while protecting Princess Vivi.

  • Garp and Kuzan led the Navy toward the East Blue as Shanks confronted Mu Le, but her Radiant Priest powers forced him to surrender, and Dragon watched their clash.
  • The Holy Church’s aircraft and Holy Mechas devastated the Navy fleet, and Garp surrendered to Sasori, who promised to spare the soldiers.
  • Sengoku withdrew the Navy from the Goa Kingdom as the Church publicized its victory, while Dragon sought an alliance and Axel agreed to support the Revolutionary Army.
  • Axel condemned the World Government’s planned attack on Ohara, and Li Ming intervened during the Buster Call, allowing Robin to reunite with Olvia in a second chance at life.
  • Minato, Madara, Hashirama, and Kaguya attacked Mary Geoise to free the slaves, and Madara and Hashirama crushed the World Government’s forces before Madara’s blast destroyed the city.
  • Tatsumi and Sayo protected the freed slaves and Marines from the resulting waves, while Imu warned the surviving Celestial Dragons and Elders not to provoke the enemy again.
  • The Holy Church revealed its powerful East Blue fleet, and Axel ordered its forces to take control of the region as the Navy evacuated and the World Government recognized the Seven Warlords.
  • Krieg’s pirates attacked a merchant ship carrying Princess Vivi, but the Holy Church’s aircraft and destroyers defeated them and surrounded Krieg and Gin.
