Zhang Fan had originally planned to use the Insect Race as the vanguard in an assault on the Aurora Race in the Northern Realm, but Jiertai and Valaya agreed that the Insect Race would be the main offensive force in the second phase.
Thus, the Insect Race needed to conserve its strength during the first phase, while Valaya led the galaxy lords in the initial offensive.
The Erl Universe's allied forces first aimed to clear out the Aurora Race's probe ships scattered throughout the universe. However, these olive-shaped vessels were fast, small, and highly maneuverable, making them anything but easy to eliminate.
At this point, Boss Jin, the current head of the Interstellar Trade Alliance, proposed sending all the Interstellar Pirates after the Aurora Probe Ships.
Although the Interstellar Pirates' warships had weak defenses, their performance and firepower were perfectly suited to pursuit.
