Light-Taker was so furious that all he could do was point at An Kai and curse.
Yet he could not get a single word out.
The Mighty Figure, however, had no such patience. The Ruler twitched, ready to strike.
"Hurry up! Do you really want to die?!"
An Kai sounded even more anxious than Light-Taker, shouting at the top of his lungs to hurry him along.
"I-I'm not refusing to help! I really don't have any more!"
"There was only one Token!"
"Be reasonable! Don't do anything rash!"
"If you die, you die, but rest assured, I'll make it worth your while. My original body is the [God of Light], one of the Supreme Gods. Believe me!"
At that moment, Light-Taker was even more afraid than An Kai himself that An Kai would recklessly throw his life away.
To calm An Kai down, he even revealed his own secrets.
Though An Kai already knew all of them.
"None left?!"
"Fine! Then we'll die together!"
"Why won't you listen to reason?! I really don't have any more!"
"Fine! Then let's die together!"
"Don't! Be reasonable!"
"Huh? You bastard, what the hell does it have to do with you if I want to die?"
Light-Taker stared at An Kai, a thousand biting retorts clamoring to escape his mouth...
But for the sake of his own life, he could only swallow his anger.
Seeing Light-Taker fall silent, the Mighty Figure holding the Ruler stirred, ready to act.
An imposing pressure radiated from him once more.
He looked ready to attack at the slightest provocation.
Witnessing this, An Kai decided to give Light-Taker one final push.
"Fine! So you won't give it to me? Then we'll die together!"
