Frieza is the Universe Emperor whose force controls roughly seventy percent of the universe’s planets. The Frieza Force expands through planetary conquest, resale, and the plunder of other civilizations’ technology. Planet Capo was targeted both for sale and for its mecha technology. 143 144

He is King Cold’s asexually reproduced offspring and, like his father, a combat-power mutant within the Frieza race. His natural strength is portrayed as extraordinary: he was reportedly born with 120 million combat power and requires little training to grow further. 144

Frieza ordered the destruction of Planet Vegeta, exterminating most of the Saiyan race. This act fuels Vegeta’s hatred of him and makes Frieza a central threat to the surviving Saiyans. 156
