Tongtian's ascension to Sainthood on the spot had already shaken the entire Primordial World.
As brothers born from the same source, Laozi and Yuanshi Tianzun were the first to sense Tongtian's deeply familiar aura. For a moment, both were astonished.
Soon, more than a dozen powerful presences rushed toward the site of Tongtian's ascension, Laozi and Yuanshi among them.
When they saw Tongtian being baptized by Heavenly Dao merit, Dao resonance suffusing his body as his terrifying Saintly aura spread without cease, shock appeared on all their faces.
Shock also crossed Laozi's and Yuanshi Tianzun's faces, before turning into bitterness and envy.
"Tongtian, to think that of us three brothers, you would be the first to become a Saint. Fortune truly toys with us!"
Laozi's face was bitter, his voice filled with resentment and envy.
As the eldest brother, he had been surpassed by his own younger brother. Laozi felt he had lost face, and his hatred for Nuwa deepened.
After all, he could originally have become a Saint first. But Nuwa's interference had cost him his opportunity, allowing Tongtian to surpass him.
Laozi laid the blame for every last bit of it on Nuwa.
Yuanshi Tianzun, on the other hand, had little enmity with Nuwa. Still, like Laozi, being surpassed by his younger brother had cost him face, and his expression was rather ugly.
As for the other ancient mighty figures, such as Minghe Ancestor of the Blood Sea and Kunpeng Ancestor of the North Sea, the sight of Tongtian becoming a Saint filled them with envy and jealousy.
Zhunti and Jieyin, however, looked excited.
For Tongtian's ascension meant that their own ascension to Sainthood was a nail driven firmly into the board-a certainty.
