Looking at the Three Ancestors of the Human Race before her, Nuwa smiled kindly. The Human Race's gradual growth filled her with joy and reassurance.
The Three Ancestors of the Human Race hurriedly bowed in thanks. Suirenshi said reverently, "Everything we have is a gift of your grace, Holy Mother. Without your teachings and protection, we could never have come this far."
"Suirenshi speaks the truth."
Ziyi and Youchao echoed his words. Their lack of pride or boastfulness made Nuwa nod inwardly, a gratified smile on her face.
"Your achievements today are also the fruit of your good fortune, and, above all, your own hard work."
Nuwa expressed her approval of the Three Ancestors of the Human Race, then turned to the matter at hand. "Now, I summoned you here today because there is an important matter we must discuss."
"Please speak, Holy Mother."
Suirenshi spoke, while the other two ancestors also looked toward Nuwa, ready to heed her instructions.
Nuwa was their mother goddess as well as the Holy Mother of the Human Race. Naturally, the three ancestors revered her and even obeyed her every word.
"This concerns the future of the Human Race."
Nuwa's expression grew solemn. "Although the Human Race is developing normally at present, I have divined that a great tribulation awaits it. Should it fail to weather this calamity, it will exist in name only. But if it survives, it will reach the pinnacle of its glory, and may even become the true overlord of the Primordial World!"
At Nuwa's words, all three ancestors looked stunned. They sat upright, listening intently as she described the Human Race's future.
