(Second update)
"Oh! Here's what happened!" Blue Ice hurriedly explained. "Over the past few days, Fellow Daoist Li and I discussed exploring the surrounding area to find out where we were and how we could get back, so we headed north. Auntie knew about this!"
"Yes! I knew. You even gave me these Phoenix Bells earlier today!" Mother Li quickly chimed in, taking out the Phoenix Bells.
"And then?" Dong Santong asked, startled. "What did you run into? Demon beasts?"
"Ah, we did run into a demon beast!" Blue Ice blurted out. "We were..."
After Li Xiaoya and Blue Ice flew to the Metal Island made of heavenly starstone, Li Xiaoya dove into the sea to investigate the Sea Island. Not long after he went down, Blue Ice began examining it from above the water as well. Although she could tell the Sea Island was extraordinary, she failed to uncover anything further. Just then, the Sea Flood Dragon shot out of the sea. Upon seeing Blue Ice, he attacked without another word, claiming that the Metal Island was his treasure. Blue Ice was no match for him and could only retreat while fighting. Fortunately, the Sea Flood Dragon seemed to have entertained the absurd notion of capturing her as his concubine, giving her a chance to catch her breath.
"Oh! So that was it!" Li Xiaoya said, realization dawning on him. After a pause, he gave a wry smile, though he had already guessed some of it. "So that thing was guarded by the Sea Flood Dragon. Our luck wasn't good enough to pick up a tremendous treasure out of thin air!"
"Oh, right! Fellow Daoist Li, have you figured out what that thing is?" Blue Ice asked delightedly.
"I'm still not entirely certain, but it's definitely an incredible treasure!"
