(Third update)
"Go!" Li Xiaoya, flying at the head of the group, flashed golden light from both hands. Several golden streaks shot forward. Bang! Bang! Two enormous black bear-like demon beasts, each with two heads, were hurled backward. They crashed into towering trees with a thunderous boom, making the trunks shudder and sending leaves raining down.
"Roar!" The black bear demon beasts bellowed angrily, shook their heads, and climbed back up, seemingly unharmed. Then they charged at the group again.
Whoosh! Li Xiaoya seized the opening and flew past, his expression untroubled. He swiftly dodged one attack after another, golden light shooting continuously from his hands and blasting the demon beasts away. None seemed to suffer any real injury, but he cleared a path and shot onward. His fine control over his strength came mainly from the years he had spent practicing moves with the Dragon Sword Art and the Fire Dragon Sword. Though those moves did not substantially increase his strength, they allowed him to control it extremely well. Naturally, the heavenly starstone deserved some credit too. Constant body tempering with it had steadily increased his physical resilience, greatly improving his control over yielding force as well. Looking back, he saw the others preparing to attack the demon beasts with their magic treasures and hurriedly said, "Don't kill these demon beasts!"
"Oh!" Dong Santong paused at his words, then quickly withdrew his Moonlight Crescent Saber. White light flashed around him, and he vanished into thin air.
