(Sorry! Writer's block! I haven't managed to write a single chapter all morning! = =)
"ROOOAR!" Another earth-shaking roar from a demon beast rang out.
It actually came from inside the cliff? Li Xiaoya froze, judging the direction of the sound.
Before he could think any further, suddenly-
"BOOOM!" The cliff exploded with a thunderous crash. Its entire face bulged and buckled, then countless rocks burst outward as the whole cliff shattered. An enormous black-and-red shape, nearly a hundred zhang long, broke through the rock wall. Its mountainous body came crashing down toward Li Xiaoya.
Hmm! A ninth-rank demon beast?! Li Xiaoya identified it instantly with his divine sense and exclaimed inwardly. At the same time, he neither dodged nor retreated. Golden light erupted around him, and with a mighty shout, he shot both fists forward like lightning.
"Boom! Boom!" Two enormous Golden Light Fists, each dozens of zhang across, blasted outward and struck the massive body hurtling toward him without the slightest difficulty.

Though it took many words to describe, the entire exchange had lasted less than two breaths. Li Xiaoya had already unleashed his spells, showing just how swiftly a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator could react and attack.
"Clatter!" Only now did the countless rocks knocked loose by the demon beast scatter and hurtle toward him. Li Xiaoya did not even dodge. With a casual wave, he raised a gale that blew all the nearby stones away.
