"Chirp, chirp!!!!" Enormous Spirit-Touched Firebirds kept flying out of the molten metal-eight in all! Each was several times larger than the one Li Xiaoya had captured. Their spiritual qi fluctuations and terrifying heat left his entire body feeling scorched. Worse still, the ice that had already been on the verge of melting began dissolving rapidly.
"Tch! Damn it!" Li Xiaoya looked frustrated. The Ten-Thousand-Year Fire Spirit Cauldron really was no easy prize. No wonder so many cultivators had failed. "Sizzle, sizzle!!!! Splash!!!!" The temperature throughout the space abruptly rose severalfold. The surrounding metal walls sizzled, and streams of fiery-red liquid slid down them.
"Hiss!!! Hiss!!! Hiss!!!" Some dripped onto the ice, melting it continuously with sharp hisses.
Seeing the ice imprisoning the Spirit-Touched Firebirds melting rapidly, Li Xiaoya felt intensely frustrated. His fingers formed seals in quick succession, and he slapped his Storage Pouch. A Transparent Ice Crystal Bottle shimmering with blue light flew out, but before he could make his next move-
"Chirp!!!!!!" The enormous Spirit-Touched Firebirds suddenly spat torrents of flame at the ice.
"Not good!" Li Xiaoya cried in alarm. He pointed at the shimmering Transparent Ice Crystal Bottle. Dazzling blue light flashed around the Small Bottle, and its mouth suddenly opened. A blue vortex appeared above the opening, steadily sucking in the ice. The Spirit-Touched Firebird Li Xiaoya had frozen was drawn inside along with it.
