After defeating the Cloud-Link Fort cultivators, he learned the Mu family’s secret, but Mu Dingping was killed by the Iron-Armed Ape guarding the Jade Spirit Tree.

• Li Xiaoya emerged from the underground river, reached Qingzhou City, and helped a dying woman and her children before returning to Treasure Immortal Town.
• Li Xiaoya reunited with Zhang Dafu and Xu Er, learned about the dangers he had escaped as a child, and used spells to restore their health.
• Li Xiaoya met the Wood Family Three Treasures and accompanied them to Mu Family Fort, where Mu Qilong asked him to find Spirit-Replenishing Liquid in Thousand Leaves Valley.

• Li Xiaoya and Mu Qilong killed the Iron-Armed Ape, returned safely to Mu Family Fort, and Li Xiaoya recovered before leaving with rewards and supplies.
• On his way back to the Heavenly Dao Sect, Li Xiaoya reunited with Liu Qingshan, agreed to explore the Southwestern Ancient City, and traveled with a Golden Spirit Sect group.
• Li Xiaoya met Zhang Hong, Ma Weiqi, and other Heavenly Dao Sect disciples, then learned that Liu Qingshan loved Zhang Hong and promised to intervene if she was being forced into her Dual Cultivation Ceremony.

Li Xiaoya and his companions fought through the Ancient City’s Mechanism Beast maze, where Li Xiaoya destroyed the Mechanism Beast King and opened the Golden Treasure Tower. After claiming treasures, the group entered the Slaughter Passage and became caught in a battle between the Righteous and Demonic Paths, where Li Xiaoya intervened to save Zhang Hong.

• Li Xiaoya led his companions through the Mechanism Beast Guards, protected Liu Qingshan and the others from their spear attacks, and confronted the Mechanism Beast King.
• The Mechanism Beast King wounded Li Xiaoya and nearly overwhelmed the group, but Li Xiaoya destroyed it with a Thunderclap Pearl, shutting down the Guards.
• Li Xiaoya used a golden key taken from the Mechanism Beast King to open the Golden Treasure Tower, where he and his companions claimed treasures and found a runic silver key in a white jade box.
• In the Slaughter Passage, Sun Xing and Jin Zhan’s Demonic Path forces clashed with Ma Weiqi, Huang Hua, and the Righteous Path and rogue cultivators.
• Li Xiaoya’s group waited for a chance to get past the battle as the Demonic Path gained the advantage and Sun Xing badly wounded Ma Weiqi and knocked Zhang Hong aside.
• Li Xiaoya rescued Zhang Hong and challenged Sun Xing, trading attacks with him as the battle scattered across the passage.
