The xenos, transformed into a gigantic, muscle-bound T'au, roared and charged at the two men on the wall again.
Evan struggled down from the wall, swaying as though he was about to collapse. But as the enemy closed in, he suddenly stepped forward, dropped his shoulder, and slammed it into the xenos's chest.
With his entire body behind the blow, he actually drove the xenos back two steps. A small dent appeared over its heart.
Evan shook his numb left arm and said in a low voice, "You're not much good either. You haven't even broken my breastplate. You're worse than a Night Lords veteran."
The xenos understood him. Furious, it raised its fist and swung at Evan's face.

Evan's one-handed strike was lightning-fast. Golden light flashed, the sword's point aimed straight at the dent he had just made.
The xenos hesitated slightly. As it changed its move, a trace of panic slipped through.
Its right hand moved to cover its heart, blocking the Power Sword, while its left arm drove a jab straight at Evan's vital points.
When his first strike failed, Evan immediately pulled the Power Sword upward. Golden light scraped against the blue arm, throwing off a shower of sparks.
Amid the brilliant sparks, Evan ducked swiftly beneath the enemy's punch, his eyes fixed on it.
Their gazes met, murderous intent filling the air.
"I'll even give you a one-hand handicap, you useless bastard." Evan never stopped talking. He had not forgotten Morgkin's lessons—taunts were excellent for drawing aggro.
The xenos looked disdainful, with a hint of mockery. It glanced aside; the other enemy was still hanging on the wall. It could fight without worrying.
The xenos disengaged immediately, trying to create distance
