I am a needle, stitching the barrier of reality

The Omnissiah's might shone upon the land. After several bombardments, the poisonous fog of Chaos finally showed signs of dispersing.

Poisonous fog alone could not withstand warship-grade bombardment. The corrupted ground beneath it was exposed: metal had become deadwood, cables had turned into brambles, and daemons howled at the sky.

The mortals on the outer battle lines roared. They had been stifled for far too long, and now they could finally see the dawn of victory.

Maturio watched everything ahead with deep concern. No one had told him about the formation of the Claws of Reality, and he was very worried about whether Evan's shield alone could drive the enemy away.

The repeated bombardment of the whale's corpse was merely the prelude to the Crimson Tide's precision strike.

The instant the beam bombardment entered its cooldown, Stormraven Gunships escorted the transports on a low pass over the bombarded area, carrying the warriors aboard. The transports did not stop, deploying the warriors straight from the air.

A drop of several dozen meters was nothing to an Astartes. Six transports swept over the corrupted zone, deploying warriors in a hexagonal formation, with a superheavy Anti-psyker Suit at the point of each sector.

Only a handful of Death Guard had come-seven in total. Most of the others were assorted troops corrupted by Nurgle in recent years.

Wherever an Anti-psyker Suit landed, the deadwood beneath its feet crumbled. Sludge flooded outward, and the microorganisms hidden within it died screaming.

Though the suits had only thirty percent of the power, their effect on the surrounding environment was lethal.

Several Chaos Daemons sensed their "family" suffering and lunged forward, determined to tear the bastards before them apart.

To a daemon, the T'au's projection in the Warp was like an ordinary stone to us: nothing worth noticing.
