The Eternal Mountain was heading toward Terra, taking Victor back to the Imperial Palace.

The Glory's Emissary was heading toward the Crimson Tide's homeworld, carrying two members of the Adeptus Custodes and Guilliman's envoy in an attempt to bring Victor back.

They passed each other perfectly.

The Silent Fire and several escort ships formed a protective flotilla, also delivering five hundred suits of Christina's new-generation adamantium armour. These suits had already proved their worth in the battle for Commorragh, reducing the casualty rate by ten percentage points.

Five hundred suits were admittedly rather few, but for the new Primaris Chapters, each Chapter could receive a handful as substitutes for the tactical role of Dreadnoughts. They were far better than Invictor Mek suits, which left their pilots exposed.

Guilliman, however, was not particularly happy. He even looked vicious.

After some "close exchanges" with his new Primaris successor Chapters, Guilliman met with this special unit.

"I hear you have the capacity for mass production? And these are merely inferior models?"

"Honoured Lord Regent, any claim of mass production is a joke. With sufficient resources and scale, even Gloriana-class Battleships could be mass-produced. But we lack such staggering resources and scale, and we have not decided to commit fully to producing this armour."

"This armour is unlike any armour the Imperium has possessed to date. Its wearers must completely abandon their old combat reflexes and muscle memory. We are still exploring the most suitable design.
