In the ancient days of the Great Crusade, there had been the Emperor, twenty-one Primarchs, and countless thousands of Astartes.
Now there was only Guilliman, and the newly established Primaris Chapters.
But the problem was... he was not Guilliman. He was Alpharius.
The memories of the two Primarchs overlapped and intertwined. Alpharius studied the actions of his former brothers, their personalities and tactics, their habits and methods of commanding armies...
Since I had already played Roboute Guilliman, why couldn't I play my other brothers?
Even without his brothers' actual memories, even if the imitation was incomplete, even if he alone could never replace twenty brothers campaigning across the entire galaxy, their methods of command, their ways of fighting, their ability to unite their warriors... all of these could still greatly improve the combat effectiveness of the new Primaris Warriors who had never met their own Primarchs.
There were three Primarchs he could not play: Rogal Dorn, Ferrus Manus, and Vulkan. With little technical knowledge in his head, Alpharius quickly excluded those three from consideration.
The Lion did not need him. The combat effectiveness and organization of the Dark Angels and their successors had not declined.
The first person Alpharius thought of was Sanguinius, the most perfect Primarch.

In fact, he was quite confident about playing Corax. Alpharius had cooperated covertly with the Raven Guard many times during the Great Crusade.
But the Blood Angels had so many successors... and they fought fiercely, too. Besides, surely the Emperor of Imperium Secundus and the Lord Protector knew each other well enough~~
Alpharius tried to play the great Sanguinius in moderation, restoring some organization to the various Blood Angels Chapters and
