Yet the stars of the occasion, the Crimson Tide Chapter, were not on any of those worlds to join the celebrations.
"Bishop Phinnis, long time no see. How is the research on the Aeldari ship coming along?"
"Long time no see, Chapter Master Evan. You really are a busy man. It must have been several decades since we last met."
"Haha, you won't find me anywhere peaceful and secure."
"Naturally. Public order on our Stolov is quite... good." When the Archbishop saw Nian Cijin behind Evan, he felt he had spoken too hastily.
"Then, Archbishop, let's get down to business first. Everything with our previous order is in order, I trust?"
"Of course. Our Forge World of Stolov has always put its reputation first. Repairs on all two hundred suits of Indomitus-pattern Terminator Armour are complete, as are those on one Battle Barge and one Strike Cruiser. Please follow me."
The entire Chapter was excited. They might not have many people, but they certainly had plenty of ships. Ample firepower meant they would not even have to consider dangerous operations like boarding actions. They could simply blast enemy warships into scrap.
Bishop Phinnis led everyone to collect the Battle Barge. This should have been an immensely exciting moment for the Chief Apothecary, but he was still busy overseeing Neophyte Transformation.
The Eternal Mountain, a Battle Barge and relic of the Storm Will Chapter, lay quietly in its dock.
Countless Torpedo Tubes and Drop Pod assemblies proclaimed its might to the universe. After a "brief" respite, this venerable warship had returned to Imperial service, ready to carry the Crimson Tide Chapter's warriors and bring
