Suddenly, with a sharp crack, the entire door shattered, its panel crashing outward.

Perturabo lay sprawled across it.

Bona was rather surprised.

So he wasn't a zombie after all. He could move.

A bewildered Perturabo hurried to his feet, trying to look unconcerned, yet visibly furious.

"So what did you do to me? Why can't I see through the materials in this room anymore?"

"I removed a... shard from your body."

Bona was deeply curious about why this Primarch had a shard of Magladroth inside him. It was only a tiny piece, but its presence was still decidedly strange.

Perturabo frowned, sensing that something was wrong.

But when he saw a towering figure beside him, his face immediately filled with disgust.

"Of all the surprises, this is the least surprising."

Perturabo instinctively tried to activate his armor's automatic weapons, but his hand merely swiped at empty air a few times before he remembered that Logos had already been stripped from him.

"Go to hell with your idiotic gods, Horus."

"I will never believe in those damned dreams of yours again."

But Horus did not react-or rather, he did not care at all. That contemptuous attitude only infuriated Perturabo further.

Having anticipated this, Bona activated the magnetic locks without hesitation, and their powerful magnetic force pinned Perturabo firmly to the floor.

"These problem children..."

Bona muttered, then crouched down to face the swearing Perturabo.

"Listen. That 'lowly scoundrel' you're cursing is the very person who saved your life. Otherwise, you'd probably be food for some warp daemon by now."

"I don't care what you think. I can let you move around freely, but if you want to go back and rebuild your legion, that's out of the question."

But Perturabo seemed not to believe him at all.
