Yvraine had felt that something was wrong lately.
"You seem somewhat unsettled lately, divine emissary."
"Farseer, I keep feeling that something is wrong. I can feel the darkness churning."
Eldarion paused, then nodded.
"That is normal, divine emissary. The appearance of the Crimson Path-the Aeldari name for the Great Rift-has allowed the Dark God's power to manifest more easily in the mortal realm."
"Rather than dwelling on that, we should focus on finding the artifacts. Others have already begun searching for them, after all."
Yvraine was puzzled.
Ever since becoming the Chosen of the Death, she had devoted herself to gathering the six legendary artifacts. Once all six were assembled, they could awaken Ynnead, the Aeldari God of Death, and kill Slaanesh once and for all.
Though Yvraine had many questions, she understood one truth better than most Aeldari: the Lady of Pleasure was, in essence, also an Aeldari deity. Whether Ynnead could truly kill Slaanesh remained uncertain.
After all, the increasingly diminished Aeldari did not have the vast number of believers that the Imperium of Man possessed. Their souls might not be able to grant Ynnead power comparable to the God-Emperor's.
But she could only press on. Ynnead was the Aeldari's only hope now.
"Which of our kin have begun searching for the artifacts?" Yvraine asked curiously.
"Among those beneath the vast stars, the roaming hunters of Kaelor have been the most active."
Kaelor?
Yvraine knew that Kaelor Craftworld was the most adventurous of all the Craftworlds. More than half the Craftworld Aeldari pirates in the Milky Way came from Kaelor.
"Them... well, that is hardly surprising."
Wait.
"Farseer, where has Kaelor Craftworld gone recently?" Yvraine asked urgently.
"The children of Kaelor recently traveled to the Eastern Fringe. They discovered that the Human Worlds there radiated an unusual brilliance."
