Itachi looked at Gua skeptically. Their infiltration had gone smoothly so far.
All they had to do was follow the plan, take out those three Shinobi, then plant the explosive pack Kabuto was carrying down below. That would finish the job.
Itachi turned and looked around.
He found no sign of anything unusual.
He figured Gua was overthinking things.
If it were especially dangerous, his father would never have assigned this mission to them.
At heart, Itachi thought this mission was fairly easy.
After all, this was their first mission. Surely they wouldn't be given anything major on their very first outing?

"We'd be better off fighting our hearts out on the battlefield!"
