It was quite far from the two Anomalies.
If the two Anomalies were near the entrance, then the black fireball was on their far side.
From twenty-odd meters away, Chu Sheng watched the black flames burning quietly in midair and frowned slightly.
Lu Guan had said approaching these black flames made him feel as though he was melting, so why didn't Chu Sheng feel anything?
There was indeed nothing around the black flames. The ground wasn't tiled, either, but covered in something like glass. Its surface was uneven, as though various objects had melted onto the ground without melting completely.
Beyond that, Chu Sheng noticed places near the black flames that hadn't melted.
It was as though a barrier limited the black flames' influence to a twenty-meter radius.
And beyond twenty meters...
Chu Sheng glanced at the shelves that looked as though they had been sliced apart. Several nearby shelves were missing sections.
The gaps looked as though the black flames had forcibly melted them away, yet just a little farther outward, there was no damage at all.
Chu Sheng could even see a bag of chips sitting right at the edge of a gap, completely intact.
