At Chu Sheng's words, A Xin looked up at the top of the Pyramid, then answered without a second thought.
"That should work."
Her ability allowed her to define the affected area herself, something everyone already knew. Chu Sheng had really only asked out of habit.
As A Xin spoke, a thought stirred in her mind, and the barrier she had dismissed solely because they were meeting with the Black Tortoise Kindling Base reappeared.
This barrier still enveloped the entire Floating Island, but this time it resembled a funnel, high around the edges and sloping down toward its lowest point at the center. Its height cleared the Nether Moon Tower before extending downward, leaving the nuclear bomb outside it.
A Xin deliberately made the barrier translucent, allowing everyone to see its altered boundaries clearly.
"Will this do?" A Xin looked at Chu Sheng, then Captain Hui. "If not, I can adjust it."
"From somewhere level with us, can people see the nuclear bomb through those parts of the barrier?" Captain Hui pointed to the enclosed areas that were clearly higher than the bomb.
A Xin shook her head. "They can still see it."
"I'm not directly blocking their view. I'm concealing the areas enclosed by the barrier. They won't see anything inside it, but they'll still see this nuclear bomb, even if their line of sight passes through a space covered by my barrier."
At that, she seemed to remember something and continued, "Right, my sequence advanced to sequence eight, and I gained another ability. I can attach a separate protective barrier to individual objects. Should I put one on this nuclear bomb?"
She looked at Chu Sheng with some concern. "This thing is pretty terrifying. If someone else has a way to detonate it remotely, we'll be in trouble."
