An Xi curiously picked up the contract on the table.
"The Iron Hoop Contract?"
Unlike other Sacrificial Items, the Iron Hoop Contract could still show its abilities to other people despite having already acknowledged Chu Sheng as its owner, due to its unusual nature.
After reading through the Iron Hoop Contract's abilities, An Xi gave Chu Sheng a surprised look.
"You actually came up with something like this."
Grinning, she draped an arm over his shoulders and gave him a thumbs-up. "That's our Chu Sheng!"
Chu Sheng sighed at her carefree manner. "I originally planned to use it to find a few people to do my bidding, but then I realized I didn't need them anymore. It was just sitting there anyway, so I figured I might as well use it to set a few rules and give us some protection."
"Makes sense!" An Xi nodded, then took a pen from her pocket and signed her name on the contract.
Then she passed it to A Xin, who was chopping vegetables.
Unable to hear, A Xin had no idea what it was and accepted the contract with a puzzled look.
But after reading the words on it and sensing its abilities, she smiled.
She trusted An Xi deeply, so she didn't hesitate when An Xi handed her the contract. She signed her name straight away.
Zhu Qing was next.
He took the contract from A Xin and glanced through it. Seeing that there were only two conditions, both of which bound everyone equally, he signed his name without objection.
Captain Hui and Old Man Li had arrived by then. Seeing Zhu Qing sign the contract, Old Man Li looked puzzled.
He didn't understand what they were doing.
Captain Hui, however, looked surprised.
The others might not know, but he did.
