Chu Sheng defeated the Unity Convoy, strengthened the Netherbone Car, and gathered new allies as the convoy crossed the wasteland. In Fragrant City, he advanced his Sequence and helped defeat two Anomalies, then the group began collecting supplies.

• Chu Sheng feigned resentment toward An Xi and Captain Hui before killing Skinny Monkey and helping defeat the Unity Convoy’s leaders, then the survivors joined his convoy.
• Chu Sheng fused supernatural materials into new items and upgrades, including a Purifying Gourd, a transforming machine-gun, interdimensional storage, and enhanced vision.
• Chu Sheng killed Gu Hao, Liu Ruyan, and Jiang Yancheng after they confronted him over a lighter, and the convoy later relied on his purified water to endure the unending heat.
• Chu Sheng and the others welcomed Lu Guan, a White Bone Sequence Adept, into the convoy, and he signed Chu Sheng’s Iron Hoop Contract.
• Chu Sheng joined An Xi, A Xin, Zhu Qing, and Lu Guan in exploring Fragrant City, where they killed an Eerie Spider and approached a supermarket containing Anomalies and a black fireball.
• Chu Sheng absorbed the black fireball’s flames, advancing his Heavenly Craftsman Sequence to Sequence 8 and gaining Black Flame.
• Chu Sheng, An Xi, Zhu Qing, and Lu Guan defeated the Freezer Anomaly and the Female Anomaly, then divided five supernatural materials and prepared to gather supermarket supplies.

Chu Sheng’s convoy reached the Enclosed Tower, traded with its isolated survivors, and helped them face a horde led by the Unicorn Spectral Horse-Cat. The survivors escaped the Tower at great cost, while Chu Sheng’s group fled with Xingzi and An Xi urged him to use the Compass to find the City of Dawn.

• Chu Sheng transformed the Netherbone Car into the Netherworld War Chariot, outfitted it with extreme cooling and storage, and led his convoy through the deadly heat.
• An Xi persuaded the convoy to investigate the Enclosed Tower, where Xu An’s group had stayed hidden from Anomalies using Seclusion.
• Chu Sheng arranged a trading fair, where Old Man Li traded Solar Grass and Chu Sheng made Xingzi a virus-extracting Bone Needle Syringe.
• The Unicorn Spectral Horse-Cat and its Anomaly horde attacked the Tower, and Chu Sheng’s companions fought while Xu An’s barrier cracked and the creature entered the refuge.
• The Unicorn Spectral Horse-Cat slaughtered survivors and overwhelmed the defenders, so Chu Sheng drove away with Xingzi while An Xi and the others kept fighting.
• Captain Hui divined that the creature was playing with the fighters, and Chu Sheng returned before An Xi, Zhu Qing, and the others fled as the Tower’s survivors escaped.
• Chu Sheng’s convoy escaped the pursuing Anomaly, reunited with Lu Guan, and A Xin concealed their life aura and trail.
• Chu Sheng revealed that Xingzi’s Compass could point toward a chosen target, and An Xi asked him to take her to the City of Dawn.

Chu Sheng led the convoy through the mist, acquired new powers and vehicles, and dealt with a dangerous trading Anomaly and rival survivor fleet. The convoy reached an Anomaly Realm as Chu Sheng transformed the Netherworld Light and awakened Youming, while An Xi and Xingzi strengthened their Eternal Flames.

• Chu Sheng fused a conch with a phone to create communication devices, then made the Eternal Flame from his Black Flame and Gu Hao’s lighter.
• Chu Sheng and his companions reached a dock, where Zhu Qing obtained a boat-car, and later confronted and killed five Sequence Adepts from a fleet that enslaved survivors.
• Chu Sheng advanced to Sequence 7, upgraded An Xi’s spear and Zhu Qing’s amphibious car, and transformed the Netherworld War Chariot into the Netherworld Light with cruiser, truck, and mecha forms.
• Captain Hui’s group brought a rule-based Vending Machine Anomaly into the convoy, but its poor returns and the survivors’ dangerous gambling led them to restrict its use.
• The convoy escaped the water mist and discovered an inhabited Floating Island, but could not reach it before it drifted away.
• As the convoy approached an Anomaly Realm, Old Man Li revealed his plant-growing storage space, and Xingzi made reinforced cold medicine from his crops.
• An Xi infused her Eternal Flame with Geng Metal Essence, and Xingzi used healing light to turn her own flame blue.
• Chu Sheng merged a ball of light made with the Authority of Life into the Netherworld Light, awakening the AI lifeform Youming.

Chu Sheng brought his convoy to Mechanical City, fought alongside its defenders, and concealed the group’s abilities while learning about the city and Chen Shi. As Mechanical City sought a trade for its knowledge and crafting skills, Chu Sheng forged a powerful magnetic blade and established terms for future crafting attempts.

• Chu Sheng’s Netherworld Mecha and Butcher helped Mechanical City defeat Anomalies, and the city welcomed his convoy inside.
• Chu Sheng demonstrated Xingzi’s healing and presented himself to Wang Jianguo as Chu Ci, a craftsman able to make Sacrificial Items.
• An Xi and Zhu Qing fought the Golden Armored Zombie and Eerie Pig while Wang Jianguo told Chu Sheng about the missing Chen Shi and his still-burning Soul Lamp.
• A Xin shielded the convoy from Mechanical City’s watchers, while Chu Sheng upgraded An Xi’s spear and gave Zhu Qing armor and new eyes in exchange for his Golden Armor.
• Captain Hui’s group agreed to sell Mechanical City information about the Enclosed Tower, and Captain Hui planned to recommend that Xu An and Sister Yan move there.
• Yang Jing demonstrated his blacksmith Sequence, and Chu Sheng began crafting with supernatural materials and Eternal Flame.
• Chu Sheng offered to craft for one supernatural material per attempt, and Wang Jianguo accepted before Chu Sheng completed the Dark-Gold Magnetic Blade.
