Chu Sheng fused the half-formed Sequence Six Anomaly with Youming to create a Floating Island, then gathered survivors and advanced by plundering a nonhuman's Sequence. The island became a home and base for Chu Sheng's group as he sought materials and workers to continue growing stronger.

• Chu Sheng fused the Village ruins and the Sequence Six Anomaly with Youming, creating a Floating Island and offering survivors a place to live in exchange for part of their harvest.
• Chu Sheng recruited Wu Meng by granting her the Heavenly Craftsman Sequence and assigned her puppet-making and farming work, while Old Man Li agreed to plant his mutated plants as defenses.
• Youming shot down a Black-Feather Anomaly, absorbed the surrounding black qi, and advanced to Sequence Six as Uncle Wang contacted the Floating Island and introduced his mixed-species group.

• Wu Meng awakened her Mechanism Puppets and began organizing Old Man Li’s seeds, while Chu Sheng traded food, information, and a Flame of Civilization with Lin Bei’s group.
• Chu Sheng contacted Lin Chaoyuan aboard the Black Tortoise and learned that a mysterious fishing line was pulling it toward the Soaring Serpent.
• Chu Sheng crafted the Flame Thorn Meteor Gun and Yin-Yang Scissors, then used the scissors to free the Soaring Serpent from the line.
• Chu Sheng modified nuclear bombs to harm Anomalies for Lin Chaoyuan and displayed a Sequence Radiation Bomb on the Floating Island.
