Chu Sheng awakened as a Heavenly Craftsman, upgraded weapons and vehicles, and helped the convoy survive increasingly dangerous Anomalies. The arc ended with Chu Sheng, An Xi, and Zhu Qing entering a town to gather supplies and killing a brat Anomalies for its supernatural materials.

• Chu Sheng killed the intruders at his tent and the tattoo-sleeved thug who had stolen his bicycle, then joined the convoy on his motorcycle.
• In a decaying town, Chu Sheng killed an Eerie Cat while Zhu Qing and An Xi fought an Ironclad Zombie, and he later upgraded his motorcycle and An Xi’s spear.
• Chu Sheng awakened Sequence 9: Heavenly Craftsman, fused the Eerie Cat’s claws with his butcher knife, and learned that supernatural materials could help him make stronger items.
• Chu Sheng fused a supernatural rib with An Xi’s spear to create the White Jade Spear, which returned to her hand, and traded with Old Man Li for supernatural tomatoes.
• Chu Sheng helped kill an Eerie Pig alongside Zhu Qing and An Xi, then received two shares of its materials and agreed to trade with Zhu Qing for the spine.
• At a gas station, Chu Sheng gathered scooter parts and car panels, then upgraded his sidecar motorcycle into a Battle-Damaged Pickup Truck.
• Chu Sheng upgraded Zhu Qing’s clothes before leading An Xi and Zhu Qing into a nearby town to gather supplies, where they killed a brat Anomalies and Chu Sheng collected its materials.

Chu Sheng gathered supernatural materials, forged new Sacrificial Items, and transformed his pickup into a powerful truck as the convoy faced an Anomalies encirclement. The survivors escaped at heavy cost, and Chu Sheng set out with renewed doubts about trusting others.

• An Xi and Chu Sheng rescued Zhu Qing from the Anomalies at the supermarket, then escaped its drowsiness-inducing attack and returned to the convoy.
• Chu Sheng fused Anomalies materials into Human Eyes, Cat Pupils and upgraded the Butcher Knife and An Xi’s White Jade Spear.
• At a rest-area trade, Chu Sheng received weapons and materials, upgraded his pickup’s tires, and made Zhu Qing the Black Blade Gloves.
• Anomalies chased both convoys, and Chu Sheng drove through an Eyeball Anomalies’s illusions before his pickup destroyed it.
• The Golden Armored Zombie and a catlike Anomalies attacked the convoy, killing many survivors while An Xi and others fought to escape.
• Chu Sheng spent most of his Survival Points to turn a salvaged vehicle into the Rampage Truck, while An Xi offered him a Sun Pattern material and a severed tail.
• The convoy departed with just over eighty survivors, and Chu Sheng recalled survivors killing a Sequence Adept before deciding against recruiting subordinates.
• Chu Sheng accidentally pushed An Xi’s SUV into Brother Hui’s vehicle, apologized, and claimed he would stop being dark-minded, prompting An Xi to seek Captain Hui’s divination.

Chu Sheng upgraded the Netherbone Car and led the convoy into the Anomaly Realm, where they fought through strange creatures, met Xu Aiguo’s Train, and took in some of its passengers. After reaching a spotless village, Chu Sheng built a spiked ram for the car and fused it with a chicken beak, leaving him shaken by the result.

• Chu Sheng fused Zhou Dun’s bone, zombie fingernails, and Tang Dao into a powerful blade, then transformed his truck into the armored Netherbone Car with An Xi’s Sun Pattern and a severed tail.
• The convoy entered the Anomaly Realm and charged through a horde of zombies and eerie animals, while Chu Sheng kept driving instead of stopping at a village and the survivors suffered heavy losses.
• Zhu Qing and An Xi helped defend the convoy, and A Xin awakened her Sequence ability at the cost of her hearing.
• Xu Aiguo arrived with his Train, explained that the group was trapped in the Anomaly Realm, and transferred willing passengers to the convoy along with three food-stocked Human-Powered Buses.
• Chu Sheng crafted several Sacrificial Items, including an Iron Hoop Contract, and traded with the Train’s passengers while learning more about their abilities and supplies.
• Zhou Dun killed a woman who had insulted Cheng Xue, and Chu Sheng accepted Zhou Dun’s Eerie Cat fascia as repayment before Captain Hui offered Cheng Xue a place in his group.
• After the convoy searched a spotless village and found nothing, Captain Hui said the road was their only way out, so Chu Sheng built a spiked ramming prow for the Netherbone Car and fused it with a chicken beak.

Chu Sheng’s convoy fought intelligent Anomalies, gathered supplies in Cheng Xue’s hometown, and helped An Xi complete her Sequence. After Captain Hui foresaw a greedy convoy approaching, the group prepared an ambush and waited for the newcomers.

• Chu Sheng’s group defeated the intelligent Red-White Clash, collected its supernatural materials, and agreed to share them among the Sequence Adepts.
• A Xin concealed the convoy’s life energy, and Chu Sheng taught Butcher to drive before making a bow and a contract that his companions signed.
• Chu Sheng fused Captain Hui’s tortoise shell and Eight Trigrams Pendant into the Eight Trigrams Six Lines, then Liu Fang used her saber to kill survivors who tried to take it.
• After the convoy returned to the normal world, Zhu Qing and An Xi subdued the Winged Snake Woman, and Butcher dismembered it while Cheng Xue found her grandmother’s severed head and resolved to survive.
• The group divided the Winged Snake Woman’s materials, and Chu Sheng created a Devouring Ram before fusing An Xi’s wings into Snake Wings that helped her complete her Sequence.
• Cheng Xue led survivors to food and fuel in her village, while Captain Hui foresaw that a greedy convoy would approach the next day.
• Chu Sheng and his companions chose to prepare an ambush, with Zhu Qing hiding in the village as A Xin concealed the convoy.
• Captain Hui spotted the approaching convoy, Chu Sheng fired the signal, and An Xi and the others prepared to face its Pickup Truck and more than fifty survivors on Shared Bicycles.
