"What, still not ready to make a move?"
"If you don't attack soon, I won't hold back."
Tony watched Dormammu lazily, his eyes full of mockery.
Even a lion used its full strength to hunt a rabbit, and Tony understood that perfectly well. The only reason he hadn't attacked first was that he wanted The Ancient One to wear down Doctor Doom and the other two a little more, making it easier to catch them all in one fell swoop.
Although The Ancient One looked rather bedraggled under the three opponents' combined assault, one glance told Tony that she truly deserved the title of Sorcerer Supreme.
Aside from looking a little worse for wear, she hadn't suffered the slightest injury so far.
That was why he was in no hurry.
But while Tony could remain perfectly relaxed, Dormammu was growing restless.
The pressure Tony exerted on him was invisible and intangible, yet it weighed on his heart like a mountain.
He could endure it for a little while, but if this continued, Dormammu feared he would lose even the courage to attack.
So, as soon as Tony finished speaking, a flash of resolve appeared in Dormammu's eyes. He had no one left to rely on now. He could only fight his own way out.
Besides, he didn't believe Tony was really as powerful as the rumors claimed.
Who was he? He was the Dark Ruler, one of the mightiest beings in the universe. There was no reason he couldn't handle a mere inhabitant of the Blue Planet.
As he kept bolstering his own courage, Dormammu moved.
A sonic boom erupted where Dormammu had stood. He vanished in an instant, leaving a crater beneath his feet.
A blade-sharp gust swept toward Tony's cheek, accompanied by a rushing sound in his ears.
