Hidden in the shadows, Li Tetsuhiro saw Ushio and "Yugi" standing motionless with their heads lowered and knew they had entered the illusion realm.
He sent a tiny amount of natural energy into Joey Wheeler and Tristan Taylor, healing them.
"Without the right dark energy, I can't even see what's happening inside?" Tetsuhiro activated his Byakugan but could not enter the illusion realm.
Unwilling to give up, he activated his Tenseigan too, but the result was the same.
"I don't have a Millennium Item either. Looks like I'll have to learn to use dark energy."
A moment later, "Yugi" was the first to move. He swept a cold glance over Tetsuhiro, then withdrew from the body in a flash of golden light and returned to the artifact.
Ushio suddenly dropped to his knees, grabbed dead leaves covered in dirt, and stuffed them into his shirt. His knuckles whitened from the force of his grip, and a guttural, crazed laugh escaped his throat. "It's all mine... no one can take it away..."
His unfocused eyes looked as though his soul had been sucked out.
Tetsuhiro walked up and gave him a hard slap across the face, but even that failed to bring him to his senses.
"This shadow game is pretty impressive."
Yugi Muto came to shortly afterward. Though dizzy, he was curious about Ushio's condition.
"You don't know what happened?" Joey Wheeler asked, puzzled. "Weird. Why doesn't my body hurt anymore?"
"Same here. A moment ago, I saw my great-grandma waving me over. Now I've suddenly recovered. I even feel like I could fight another three hundred rounds!"
Tetsuhiro made no attempt to hide it. "I healed your injuries, but another 'Yugi' defeated Ushio. Make sure you thank him later."
"What? Another 'Yugi'?"
"Another me?" Yugi Muto pointed at himself
