Tetsuhiro gave the visitor a questioning look.
The visitor replied apologetically, "His family offered far too much. We had to get him into your class as soon as possible."
The delicate-looking, white-haired boy wore a sweater over a shirt and gray trousers, giving him a fresh, clean-cut appearance.
He bowed deeply and introduced himself in a gentle voice. "Hello, Teacher Li. Hello, everyone. My name is Bakura Ryou."
So he's finally here? That means Kaiba should be back soon, too. After that thought, Tetsuhiro pointed. "Bakura, take the seat beside Joey Wheeler."
"All right, let's continue... Our next topic is: 'How to bring a smile to your opponent's face.'"
After class, the girls surrounded Bakura, clamoring to show him around the school.
But he ignored them and walked straight up to "Yugi," touching the Millennium Puzzle out of curiosity.
Suddenly, his chest began to hurt. He was taken to the infirmary, but they could find nothing wrong with him.
After that, his chest hurt whenever he approached "Yugi." It reminded him of his friends at his previous school, who had inexplicably lost consciousness and still hadn't woken up.
That night, Bakura suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice at home. After speaking with it, he finally understood that his friends had been rendered unconscious by the Millennium Ring his father had entrusted to him before dying.
