Without a doubt, Jonas's actions, which practically amounted to an open declaration of war, left even the normally composed Noel struggling to control her emotions.
It wasn't simply because of what Jonas had done... or rather, his actions accounted for only a small part of it. She wasn't someone who got angry over a mere insult. Much of her anger came from her own mistaken judgment... he had known her objective all along, which was why he had struck first, hoping to eliminate her before she could act.
If that mistaken judgment had truly cost her her life... the thought sent a chill through Noel.
This was the first time her judgment had been so far off...
"Miss Noel, did something happen?"
Karin's voice came from beside her. Approaching from behind, she finally noticed the wheelchair in front of Noel.
The video had already finished playing. All Karin saw was an ordinary high-tech wheelchair.
The sight surprised Karin, and she gave a curious little exclamation before asking:
