The glass curtain wall switched to its black thermal-insulation mode, shutting all the heat out on the streets of District 25.
A gentle coolness filled the dim office. The central air-conditioning system ran efficiently, silently dispelling the heat. In that cool, pleasant stillness, only the virtual screen on the desk cast a faint blue glow, tracing a hazy silhouette.
"Mm... ah..."
A faint moan, mingled with panting, broke the silence. In the dim light, the blush on the young woman's cheeks glistened. Tears shimmered in her exquisitely crafted azure eyes, while their elongated corners tilted upward alluringly. Satisfaction showed openly on her lovely face.
Eiffel licked her rosy lips, still wanting more, as though she remained immersed in the pleasure of moments before.
"Already had enough? It seems you're not in very good form today, Miss Eiffel."
Jonas teased her as he stroked her slightly disheveled blond hair. The powerful lady Steward looked nothing like the serious, meticulous, intellectual secretary she usually was. Instead, she resembled an insatiable succubus, employing every trick she had to tempt a poor fellow like him into sin.
-but the good news was that the indomitable Mr. Jonas had defeated the succubus!
"Why ask when you already know the answer, Mr. Jonas?"
Eiffel sounded somewhat annoyed, but the words that left her mouth carried an entirely different flavor.
"As your secretary, I work tirelessly on all the company's affairs every day, for fear of troubling the chairman."
"But our dear chairman doesn't seem to appreciate it. He has someone different keeping him company every day, yet never remembers his own secretary."
The resentment nearly overflowed from her words, making the hand Jonas had resting on her body tremble.
Miss Eiffel certainly wasn't a jealous person. On the contrary, she was very generous and didn't mind
